Mike was just fantastic. He arrived early and took us straight out fishing. His boat is awesome and very comfortable. He explained everything to me (I have not been fishing very much, and haven't fished in about 5 years) He was very patient and was always on hand to help with whatever we needed. Whenever the bait needed changing or the line needed fixing, he would take that rod from you, immediately give you another rod so you could keep fishing, then give you back the fixed one. He ensured the fish we kept were big enough, but not too big to comply with local laws and even cleaned and deboned the fish for us again to comply with the laws in Quebec. I had my service dog with me and Mike did everything he possibly could to make my dog comfortable and able to make it the whole 8 hour charter we had booked with him. As soon as we can go back, we will book him without hesitation. 5 🌟!

Spent a wonderful 2 full days of fishing with Mike and caught multiple species including lake trout, pike, bass and walleye. He is not only a terrific guide with a quality boat and a huge repertoire of every tackle and technique imaginable, but also a great teacher for novices and seasoned anglers alike.....not to mention a fun fishing partner with many interesting stories and loads of good conversation. Do not hesitate to contact Mike for a truly memorable adventure.
