The paddle experience with Ridge Wilderness Adventures was so ensouling. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and our instructor, Dave had such a an uplifting spirit. He shared stories and educated our group along the way about the local flora and fauna. After the paddle we were greeted with coffee, tea and delicious shortbread cookies that we enjoyed by the warmth of the fire with our colleagues where we reflected on our joyous moments with nature. This was the best team building experience ever! Thank you to all the The Ridge Staff. You are top notch!!

Rachael was an absolutely fantastic instructor! She gave clear, easy-to-follow instruction and brought an impressive first aid skill set to the course. As a Chilliwack SAR member, she shared realistic scenarios that made the learning both engaging and fun. I especially loved all the hands-on practice and getting to share the experience with such a great group. I would like to continue on with the Wilderness First Aid now… would love to have Rachael back to instruct again. Thank you:)

I just took the 20 hrs Remote First Aid course. I've taken so many first aid courses over the year - and this one was definitely one of the most engaging and useful courses. Our instructor Jackie has a wonderful teaching style - and knew how to challenge our group and keep things real. I also appreciated that the course was held outdoors at the UBC Research Forest in Maple Ridge. The lack of cell service made ever scenario realistic.

I recently hired Ridge Wilderness to deliver a first aid course for my leadership team. My leadership team is comprised mostly of teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17. The instructor, Rachel, was the right teacher for our group. She was engaging and made the topic of first aid interesting to learn.

Ridge Wilderness was easy to work with. We initially communicated via email and phone to ensure the course we wanted was the right one for our needs. I provided several dates which worked for our schedule. The instructor came to our facility which worked well for our team. I definitely recommend Ridge Wilderness for your first aid needs.
