Rivers Edge Resort - Elma, Manitoba

We chose Rivers Edge Resort for our wedding venue this September.

I’ll start by giving Joy and Scott a huge shoutout. From the moment we came to see the venue 2 years before the wedding, we knew this was the place for us. The grounds are so well maintained, they care about their venue so much and you can tell.

Joy and Scott were so so helpful. They provide you with a full package at the beginning for tips, advice, suggestions and recommendations.

Any and all questions we had, were answered very quickly and they helped make sure our day went so smoothly.

The perk of being able to stay at the cabins for the weekend was fantastic. Made everything so much easier. The cabins are well taken care of, clean, and had all the necessities.

The staff they hire to run the place and the day of were INCREDIBLE. So kind, attentive, helpful and friendly.

Absolutely recommend choosing this venue for your dream wedding!!

We had our wedding here and we absolutely loved it! Joy and Scott are both wonderful to work with and Joy always answered all my emails promptly. This venue is so beautiful and so many of our guests commented on this. I really enjoyed the stress free aspect of getting to stay the whole weekend which really allowed us to enjoy our special day without any stress. We highly recommend this wedding venue!

Not very impressed as I tried to book a room for a future date and the girl on the other end of the phone said without even asking when, "we are full." They must be busy everyday, year round as she did not even ask when.

We got married at this beautiful resort on May 27, 2023. It was the first wedding of the season.

We chose the diamond package over the basic package. Every service in the diamond package was 100% worth it! Ashley at ReadysSetWedding was marvellous, Aimes music (DJ) kept the dance floor going all night and picked all the right songs (and did not play our “do not play” list), and the bartenders from on tap bartending kept the drinks flowing all night. And of course, Scott and Joy were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire night.

Throughout the entire planning process our questions and concerns were answered quickly by both Ashley and Joy. We were relaxed and confident about our big day. Ashley had a very large selection of decor, it was hard to choose what we wanted! She decorated the venue exactly how we wanted and more.

Having our guests camping just across the road, allowed for a long night of fun with our favourite people. Scott kept the fire going all night and left us wood for when he left.

Rivers Edge Resort and the Diamond package made for the most wonderful wedding weekend experience. There is nothing we would change and very highly recommend this venue and the diamond package to anyone looking for a unique wedding!

The cabin is beautiful and so nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Nice property to explore. We really enjoyed the hosts, who were readily available to take care of our needs - they provided access to the garden, gave us a golf cart ride, lit a fire for us at night, and even drove us to a drop off point so that we could kayak back to the cabin without fighting the current. We look forward to returning in winter for cross country skiing and skating on the river.
