Had the pleasure of having RNR come today to take my mom to an appointment. Abbee, Shandae, Ronnie and Jackson all went above and beyond and they constantly made sure my mom was OK. They spent time to ease her stress and worry and asked her questions to get to know her. They were so friendly and very patient.

A true horror story of utter incompetence dealing with this company. My father was supposed to be taken to Oshawa General for a procedure at 11AM.
He left Bowmanville hospital at 11AM and taken to Ajax hospital. When he didn't arrive on time in Oshawa, we started asking for him, only to be told repeatedly he was "on the way".
His appointment got cancelled because he never arrived, wasting his time, the surgeon's time, my mom and sister's time (they took time off work for this) and had our entire family panicked.
He was returned to Bowmanville hospital at 2:30PM. He was stuck in a bed in an ambulance for 4 hours at the wrong hospital. He hadn't eaten, drank or taken meds since the night before because he was due for a surgery.
Throughout the ordeal, this company never once bothered to inform anyone about where he was or what was going on. It took more than an hour to even figure out where my father was.
Once they realized their mistake, they could have taken him back to Bowmanville at any point during the 4 hours as it is only 25 minutes away. Instead they opted to leave him in an ambulance at Ajax while they waited on another patient that they decided to "carpool" him with.
Luckily a manager informed us that we "wouldn't be charged" for the completely pointless and extemely negligent ride to and from the wrong hospital. Now my father has to do this all again later this week. Absolutely ridiculous.
I called their dispatch for information but the call was never taken. I left a voicemail for their regional manager, but got no response.
Do NOT trust a loved one with this company.

I used RNR Patient Transfer on January 25, 2024 for my 90 year old Mom who was being transfered from Hosptial to an LTC Home. They arrived 10 minutes early and drove us safely to my Mom's new home arriving before her mandatory admission time. Jackson and Abee were the transfer staff and they were both amazing! Professional, kind, attentive to my Mom and very easy to talk to. Our transfer was seamless from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company and if you are using RNR based in Pickering, Ontario, ask for Jackson and Abee, they are an amazing team! If you are prepared and have your loved one ready a few minutes before the scheduled pick up time, that helps RNR to keep to their scheduled times. Thank you again to Jackson and Abee for taking the stress out of an already anxious day!

I recently called on RNR Patient Transfer and was very impressed. Samantha was very professional and helped me in a bind the day before the hospital advised my dad was to be moved. They arrived early and were extremely professional and polite to my dad and price was as agreed. I will definitely call them again when needed and highly recommend this company

My husband and I would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the team and your company in the safe transfer in bringing our daughter home from the Hospital. The attendants were kind, caring, courteous, and professional, ensuring our daughter was comfortable, positioned correctly, and felt safe. Matt and his colleagues demonstrated genuine concern for all of us, and alleviated any concerns we had.
We would not hesitate to utilize this service again and will highly recommend RNR. THANK YOU again!

My mother was dieing in Etobicoke hospital who is a larger patient (bariatric) and my family needed help to get my mom to a better hospital (sunnybrook). My mom weighs about 350lbs, she had a dislocated right arm, and a huge growth on her inner right leg, who also requires oxygen and was experiencing delerium. These wonderful people helped my family, and I watched them transfer my heavy mother who is a complicated patient to their own stretcher. My mother did not yell or scream and she was very calm and also felt safe in their hands! They were also super friendly. My sister got to ride in the ambulance as well.
I booked an appointment a day before the transfer was to take place. Yes it was pricey due to the fact my mom is a Larger person and required more assistance. My mom is alive today thanks to these people! The service is great. From the initial phone call I loved speaking to the person I was talking too. I cannot remember names but u guys know who you are. I cannot thank you guys enough. U helped me and my family save my moms life from that horrible hospital. I recommend them and I always speak highly of these people. Thank you again!

I found this service to be great for getting me in a very timely manner. Taxi in town was 45 min. wait and I didn't want to call an ambulance. I have anemia and had a call from my Dr indicating that my hemoglobin had dropped to 56/120! I would have died had I not gotten to hospital and received a blood transfusion asap! I didn't realize just how bad of shape I was really in, until I got to Soldiers Memorial. The staff that transferred me were so good, they kept me calm by talking to me and stayed with me until the nurse got to me. They could've just dropped me at the entrance but no, they were amazing! I've called them since when family or friends needed service and all felt the same way .Great service for care and transfer as not everyone needs an ambulance but can't wait for a cab.
