This area is lovely! Wish I had visited a week ago because then the spring flowers would have been in full bloom, but still a gorgeous little garden area. I was thrilled to see tadpoles in one of the ponds!

Rockway Gardens is breathtaking , well managed clean  especially in the summer.
Nice place for walks. Suitable for small picnics. The place is very quiet, peaceful and calming with a few fountains around.
Lots beautiful flowers and parking is easy to find.
It is free to visit and there 's street parking nearby.

Such a gorgeous place! It's open to the street, so you're not really in an enclosed garden. But it's beautiful nonetheless. There are trees, flowers, fountains, streams, landscaping, structures. If you just walk through the whole area, it'll take you under 30 minutes. If you take your time and appreciate the scenery, you can spend an hour here. There are benches. It's free to visit, and there's street parking nearby.

Cute little Horticulture spot with a variety of flowers planted around with lots of bees! The place is mostly quiet & calming with a few fountains around. The flowers are pretty & the garden is very well-maintained; however it's really small. This is a lesser known spot which is why it's less crowded & parking is easy to find.

There are no picnic tables but there are some benches around. The garden is dog-friendly; has public washrooms. Overall, a small but pretty calming spot to take a walk around on a good sunny day!

Took my 5.5 year old today for a little picnic and to get some cute pictures of her. We were going to look at the little waterfall they have there. Half way up the little walkway, I look up and see some junkie shooting up in the trees around the waterfall. I immediately distracted her and pulled her away from there. Then before we left, I was taking some pictures of her by one of the fountains, only to have some guy come up and start bathing himself in the fountain. Like, ewwww.
We have gone there every year since she was a baby and never had any issues before. It used to be such a beautiful place to go with beautiful flowers and lots of places for photo ops, but it seems the junkies are taking over, like every other beautiful park/forest/garden in this city.

Me and my fiance adore this Garden. It's an amazing place to just escape, see pretty things, and maybe even have a picnic. I even proposed here, because it's such a majestic place.

It was a surprise to see that this garden is a long stretch on the side of a road, with a small service road where you can park, then walk along the garden. It's beautiful with fountains, arches and gazebos. There are a lot of colorful flowers arranged beautifully. I hear this year the garden wasn't as full of blooms as the past but we still thought it was beautiful.

beautiful place , lots of room to park on side of road . only downside was some man was smoking heroin by the fountain . police came and told him to leave very quickly which was nice !
