Incredible experience!! We had the two hour workshop with Andrew and met multiple birds up close and personal. The intimate experience allowed for ample time to take pictures, ask questions and learn about the birds. Andrew and Amy are so knowledgeable about falconry and it shows in the way they care for their birds. We also felt very comfortable in their presence. We were able to have birds on our gloves as well as fly birds to glove at the end of the experience. Highly recommend for bird lovers!

Royal Canadian Falconry is a fantastic place to go whether you know a lot about the birds and falconry or not, Andrew does an amazing job at describing and educating about the birds and falconry. He’s extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about what he does and it shows through his teaching. The birds are phenomenal and so cool to just be around! I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in Falconry and will definitely be coming back again for another session!

This was by far, the most amazing experience. Both guides were knowledgeable and able to answer all of my random questions about the birds. I have to be honest though, it was the birds who stole the show for me. They are beautiful. Having the opportunity to see them up close and then to see some of them fly was remarkable. I was given the opportunity to allow some of the birds to stand on my gloved hand for an extra up-close viewing. I even had a beautiful Harris’ Hawk fly to me and land on my hand! I’m still feeling star struck from this truly unique and unforgettable experience.

Such an incredible experience. Amy was extremely knowledgeable and spoke eloquently about her background, the birds of prey, and when answering my questions to ensure I understood. If you love birds of prey as much as I do, or you want to learn and experience their beauty, this is definitely for you! Being able to be close to them and watch some action, I was overjoyed I had one of my dreams come true. You will not regret this!!

Wow what an incredible experience!!! This is not to be missed. My partner and I are amateur birders and love raptors. To have various raptors perched on my gloved hand and looking into my eyes was such a moving experience. Amy is akin to a raptor encyclopedia. We learned so much about these beautiful creatures. She has raised many from birth and is rehabbing others. We learned of their individual personalities and Amy’s love and devotion for her birds. While getting up close and personal with these raptors indoors was amazing going outdoors was another experience entirely. Having a raptor flying right at you then extending their wings putting on the brakes and landing on our outstretched gloved hands was an exhilarating experience we will never forget. We highly recommend that you visit with Amy and her beautiful raptors.

I couldn't reccomended this company more highly. I did a workshop experience with Andrew and have always had a keen interest in falconry. To say I had an absolute blast is an understatement. He was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and fun to chat with. The birds are beautiful and to learn about their anatomy, care, work and relationships was beyond fascinating. Then ofcourse, the opportunity to actually glove up and fly a hawk is a wild and surreal experience. If you're thinking about going with Royal Canadian to learn about falconry, trust me, DO IT!

My wife and I had the pleasure of doing the 2 hour experience and it was amazing. I have read about falcons for years and have a pretty good knowledge of them. But nothing compared to our guide. His knowledge of falcons and falconry is exceptional and we learned a ton. So much dedication and hard work goes into falconry and these people deserve a tip of the hat for the outstanding work they do. Very up close and personal session with these wonderful raptors and I would recommend anyone that wants to learn more to do this session. Memorable time for us! Thanks so much.
