This park is an excellent choice for a family outing, pets included. Many visitors enjoy sitting in the shaded areas on their lawn chairs, basking in the serene and peaceful environment. However, I have noticed a significant amount of litter along the roadsides and less-traveled paths, which is a concern. On a positive note, the park offers a lovely area for renting kayaks or canoes. There's also a charming cafe situated by the river. Crossing the bridge that connects different areas of the park is a delight, and the river itself adds to the tranquility with its soothing sounds. Additionally, there's a small soccer field and a baseball field on the opposite side of the bridge. The mature trees throughout the park provide ample shade, which is greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend this park to anyone seeking a leisurely walk, a canoe trip on the river, or simply a moment to relax on a bench or in a lawn chair under the shade.

It is a very sweet little park with 2 bridges and a river flowing below it. It has a gazebo and play area for kids. Benches with a view of the river is great to sit and relax. It was a bit cold on the day that we visited the park. I am sure it would be beautiful in spring. The Boathouse sells great ice cream .

Quiet and peaceful park. I usually go there in the afternoons on weekdays to sit by the river and relax. If lucky enough, one can witness the local birds around the river.

My favorite place for picnic and walk. It's so beautiful for sunset as well. Only issue is that there is no public washroom amenities nearby.

My dogs love walking by the water! It's a great place to snap amazing nature/water bird pictures, enjoy a picnic with the family or just relax by the water.

I frequently walk around this park with my family and friends, and we always enjoy it here. The water is calming, and the people in the area are always friendly. On some occasions, we stay longer to have a picnic. Lots of great memories here! Watch where you're walking or placing your picnic blankets though... Lots of mess from the birds especially during warm seasons
