We had such a pleasant experience with Rural Connection in Findlay Creek so far, from our assigned Childcare consultant Shahla, the whole registration process by Rural Family Connection, to our son's home care provider Mona!

And our son and us, we really love Mona. He was just 11 months old and being our first born, we were super anxious when he started. Mona is very caring and a wonderful person. We feel very safe and relieved when he's with Mona. Communication with the caregiver was exceptional. We received regular updates throughout the day, including photos and anecdotes, which made us feel connected to our child's daily experiences. Mona was always receptive to our questions and concerns, and we appreciated their willingness to collaborate and work as a team in our child's best interest.

Hygiene and safety were paramount in this home child care setting. She maintained a clean and organized environment, ensuring that all toys and materials were sanitized regularly. We were impressed by the attention to detail, as well as the implementation of safety protocols to protect the well-being of all the children. Our experience with this home child care provider, Mona has been nothing short of exceptional. We had a very negative and dissatisfactory experience. We signed a contract for part-time care for our 2 small girls through RFC. Months later, our contract with our provider was terminated, effective immediately (as per our contract, we were to have 1 month notice) to allow our daycare provider to take kids with full-time contracts instead. When I contacted RFC directly, I was told by our coordinator Erin that this was because “part-time was hard to secure” and that there was nothing they could do to help us since we only wanted (and signed a contract from RFC) for part-time care. We strongly do not recommend you engage RFC’s services. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and have no concerns about leaving family’s with no childcare services, despite having a valid contract.

Our daughter did the summer day camp and loved it so much. They sang lots of songs and read stories, and they did a lot of crafts every day.
