I met Stef and Ken this weekend on the Kootenay River, and simply can’t find a way to express how blown away I am by their hospitality and professionalism. To be clear, we were not clients, just very lucky passers-by.

It all started with a couple of raised beers (which my cohort and I were fresh out of) and some great intel on camp sites down river, then transitioned seamlessly into instruction and a few games of Viking Chess, and ended with a gracious invitation to dinner and campfire conversation. Peter, the camp chef, prepared an exquisite meal. We had to insist on doing dishes to clear our consciences.

We had a great time with their clients of five years that night, and in the morning, Ken refreshed our memories on what to expect down river.

Thanks again to the whole S and K crew. You’ve gained a future client through your incredible good-nature.

What an amazing weekend. 3 day expedition on the river with a helicopter hiking event in the middle. I challenged Ken and Stef to build something amazing and the exceeded our expectations. One of the best trips ever.
