We have had the pleasure of staying at the Salt Spring Carriage House B&B five times and every time is just as wonderful as the last. We come here every year to celebrate our anniversary. Sue and Chris are incredible hosts. They have become good friends that we look forward to visiting. The accommodation is absolutely spotless, warm and welcoming. We have stayed in the loft and the garden suite. Both are fantastic! The garden suite has an amazing beach vibe that we really like. We enjoy the loft as well. Both suites have their own outdoor hot tub. Both are spacious, well laid out, top notch construction and attention to detail. And the BREAKFASTS!!!! I don’t know even where to begin with how delicious they are. Sue will ask what time you’d like breakfast and she is spot on with the time every day. She is absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend the Salt Spring Carriage House B&B (I was actually shocked when I realized I had never reviewed it!!)

The Salt Spring Island Carriage House is EXQUISITE! My partner and I were there this weekend for my birthday celebration in the Garden suite. It had everything we needed. The small touches like the light turning on when you enter the bathroom, the heated floors, the gas fireplace, the hot tub and the food.... everything was just out of this world. Sue is an amazing baker and cook. The scones were the best we ever tasted and the eggs Hollandaise were of a quality you would find in a Michelin restaurant. It was so private, and great to just relax. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Everything was clean and neat.||Just AMAZING!!! We will be back.

Sue puts the B&B back in Airbnb! She is such a gracious host we felt at home right away. The Garden Suite was almost too perfect for us and our two dogs. The suite was clean with private fenced off garden and hot tub - perfect for our two dogs to roam outside while the humans enjoy the tub.

Her daily breakfasts (including cookies for the dogs) delivered through a dumbwaiter in the suite was an amazing addition for us to wake up ready to go every morning. What an amazing experience! We would definitely recommend this place to all of our friends visiting the salt spring island

We stayed here 3 nights for a wedding on Salt Spring Island and it was such a wonderful stay. The host’s were so warm and welcoming and the fresh made breakfast every morning was delicious. The Garden suite we stayed in was beautiful, clean, sound proof and very comfortable. Our only regret is missing breakfast on the last day to run off to catch our ferry. Big thank you to Sue for the amazing stay.

Sue was a wonderful host.

The place was clean and comfy. The room was spacious and very well lit. There was a microwave, small fridge, a coffee maker, and some basic kitchenware.

The patio is fantastic, has cover for those hot sunny days, and a hot tub that is great for relaxing.

Sue lives on site (different building) and makes breakfast for the guests. Her scones are amazing!

Arriving by car, we were warmly greeted by Sue, the owner. Her warmth and enthusiasm are contagious. We felt very glad that we would be staying at this B and B for the coming 2 nights. Chris, the husband, another owner, showed us to a spacious lovely room, and the private hot tub for us. A cozy lodging set in the wooded area. It is just lovely. Scrumptious breakfast of home baked goods, fresh fruits, yogurt…. Delicious and fresh.|I was thrilled that I found this gem for the husband’s 70th birthday. It is quite a luxury to have your private hot tub to relax at, too. Highly recommend that you stay here. We are looking forward to coming back.

We were going to stay at my good buddy's shack over by sunrise place. There, we would have been comfortable for sure, that said, it would have been a very rustic experience.
I am so pleased I decided to redirect our stay to Salt Spring Carriage House B&B. There we had so much more than a comfortable bed in which to sleep. Sue's kind hospitality and accommodation of our schedule truly went above and beyond. I loved the private hot tub located just outside the front door. My Partner particularly appreciated the unique fireplace and its ability to quickly remove any coolness from the air. Kept us cozy for sure.

We just spent two nights here and had such a marvellous time. Sue and her husband were so welcoming and helpful! The breakfasts were lovely, the room was so clean and bright, and we loved having our own hot tub. Thanks so much for the amazing stay, we will be back!
