$400 for a night in the king suite. Then told you book a slot for the outdoor tub. Then 10$ to park. The TV in the main area didn't work. Under our bed was dirty with old gum. Curtains were missing the rod so opening or closing was a major pain. The massage bed only worked on one side. The shower was cool to look at then to use it not all features work anymore. Nor does the main shower head stay up so becomes dangerous and cumbersome to have a shower. Cool place with cool stuff in and near by but really weird how you have zero to no service. Had a better experience at the prestige

Had a wonderful stay! The location offers convenient access to explore, perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel staff made us feel at home. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. |The hotel's location in downtown Nelson allowed us to walk to various restaurants & bars.||All the staff were incredibly friendly, a special thanks going to Jocelyn & Fin who often went above and beyond to meet our needs. ||We really appreciated the spacious King Suite room, as well as the comfortable bed with both sides having its own rise, recline and vibration, helping to stimulate aching muscles, so that they no longer have the painful knots in them after several rounds of golf!||The roof terrace jacuzzi has panoramic views over the lake & Kootney hills, “amazing” with a magical sunset. |We used the roof terrace which also provides hammocks, outside seating & a gas fire pit to meet up with family & friends.||Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure!

From the time we arrived to the time we left we received excellent service. Check in and out was a breeze. Rooms are nicely decorated , clean and spacious. On the floor we stayed on they had a beautiful living room area. Also this hotel is pet friendly. Located on the Main Street so close to restaurants and shopping. Nelson is a wonderful place and the Savoy is exceptional. Great price too, highly recommend the Savoy!

Loved our stay here - the building has a lot of character, without compromising on the amenities. Super comfy King-sized bed, my partner and I were discussing we wanted to buy the shower (complete with rain/massage options). And our favourite feature, the rooftop hot tub, from where you have a wonderful view on the surrounding mountains. Our place to stay next time we're in Nelson.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Savoy Hotel! The room was incredibly comfortable — one of the best we’ve experienced. We couldn’t get enough of the rooftop views, and the staff made our visit even more special with their friendliness and genuine care. Everything about the experience felt warm, relaxing, and top-notch. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Five stars all the way!

First of all the location is amazing - right at the end of Baker St. It makes walking / browsing the town a breeze. So many great places to eat or you can just go downstairs and grab some Thai food and bring it up to your room 🙂

The room itself was clean and modern, and the super high ceilings made it feel big (stayed in the deluxe king suite - and would choose that room again).

We made use of the sauna and the hot tub - meaning we had it to ourselves - we just had to book it with the front desk. The staff were super sweet and accommodating. Wish we had more time....

I got a single king room, way smaller than it looks in the pictures and really poorly maintained. The shower is pretty gross, and not user friendly. The hand held wand has a mount with a suction cup and isn’t user friendly at all. None of the body spray jets work. The shower pan is pretty nasty, big stain that looks like mold and hopefully doesn’t give me some kind of foot fungus problem. The window onto the balcony opens and then the handle falls off so that’s high quality as well. The shaving mirror in the bathroom is about to fall off the wall. Don’t show up early because they don’t have someone at the front desk and there’s no bell to ring, you have a to find a button for an intercom on the front desk and push the button. Once found there’s someone on the other side speaking poor English through a crackling speaker. Parking is also terrible but they charge $10 a night for it and there’s only 6 spaces for small vehicles. Don’t book this hotel if you drive a full size truck because you might not be able to park it here. Clearly the other reviews are from people that are friends with the owner. My experience has been much different than what the other reviews portray. I wouldn’t be surprised if my review gets removed. If it does I’ll post it again.
