Absolutely loved this spot! Scotsman’s Hill gives you one of the best skyline views in Calgary, with the Saddledome front and center—perfect for photos at sunset or blue hour. It’s an easy, short walk up, and the view is totally worth it. I went on a clear evening and could see the whole downtown glowing; it felt peaceful and safe, with a friendly neighborhood vibe. Do note it’s a residential area with limited street parking, so be respectful and keep noise down. If you’re visiting during Stampede, this is a fantastic angle for fireworks. Bring a light jacket (it can get windy) and your camera—you’ll leave with postcard shots. 100% recommend!

Great scenic vantage point here. You get a great view of the skyline of Calgary. It’s pleasant in the early morning sunrise and at night you have the night lit skyline. 👍😎

Great view from Scotsman hill. It's near Victoria/Stampede station by walking and has some uphill steps and by car you can directly come to the hill.

To get a beautiful view of the Calgary skyline, you must visit this spot! There's a nice green space perfect for sitting with friends while kids play. The benches offer an amazing vantage point for the skyline. Just be aware of small flies. You'll find plenty of street parking, and you'll also notice the beautifully built houses in the area.

Small park with a few benches over looking downtown. As for the park itself, it is narrow, along a street. If it is difficult to control your dog, there is a high chance that it could run out into traffic. One good thing about this area; you can take the stairs down to the Elbow River. It is shallow for your dog to jump in.

Nice park. Its a good spot to down hill at. Nice natural shapes with jumps. Lovely view of the city. Very clean naborhood. There's a staircase of doom to ride down. Its would be a good place for a Downhill MTB skills park.
