made a trip out to see this place, and although I was initially shocked at how small it really was, this did not prevent me from appreciating and enjoying every aspect of it. Excellent helpful staff, beautiful and quaint tea room, which I will be back to try soon… Lovely wools and other products too! Also got some great advice and coaching from in-house staff regarding my new passion of knitting👍🫖🤓

Loved the shop, the mocha (which was spot on delicious) and the chat with the ladies there. Made a special trip into Carbonear just to visit the shop. There is a wide variety of yarns, made from natural fibres with beautifully dyed patterns. It was a shame they were sold out of their popular patterned yarn, as I would have loved to have added it to my haul.

Months ago there was a bad review because I had no news of my order and they did not answer me. but I have to change it because in the end they contacted me, they sent me the receipt and the package has arrived, with a gift included. thank you so much

We were referred to this store from another local store in the area.

I am foreign to crafts and hobbies, but walking in the place we clean, well organized and I could tell it was quality items.

The colours were abundant and of all types of "string" and I learned about mohair.

I saw some sort of traditional yarn spinny manual machine and enjoyed the banter of those already present in the store.

We ordered a cheese panini and it was lovely.

The parking is decently abundant and the cost of food or materials were comparable.

The knowledgeable owners/staff, the lovely customers inside helped to create a safe space and thus a place to grow my interest or intrigue with the hobby of knitting itself.

As a BIPOC Person of the LGBTQ2IA+ community; finding safe spaces can be hard to find at times and this location was one of the few places in many years in this province that I felt equal even with my inability to do the craft. It was inclusive and non judgemental.

It was a wonderful place to bring my child and we will be returning in future.

PS: the cake on display here looked so yummy but I did not have any but if you check the FB page, there are pictures of other cakes or items served. It's a cute little pit stop with quality wares.

My daughter was getting married at Terra Nova Resort and realizing it would be a busy day with little chance of visiting the restaurant, SeaSpun made trays of sandwiches and cookies to be shared on the wedding day while we were all getting ready! I can honestly say, anyone who tried a sandwich, would quickly do a double take to determine what was in the sandwich. Absolutely delicious and unique sandwiches as well as the dessert tray. A wide variety of each and thoroughly enjoyed by all. They even offered alternative means of packing for ease of transporting. I will certainly be back, thanks so much!

Stopped in for lunch early Sunday afternoon. It was a little busy because they were serving high tea. (Did not realize this until we arrived and did not partake.) Ordered panini sandwiches which were quite nice. The coffee was excellent. The menu mentioned that the sandwiches would be served with a corn and quinoa salad, but that was never mentioned nor served - the sandwich looked rather lonely on the plate. Dessert options were basically nonexistent, evidently because they were being served with the high tea and not available to anyone else. Would have rated three stars because of the missing menu items and slightly higher prices, but added a star back in because of the nice atmosphere and the folks there were quite friendly.

Beautiful store and wonderful cafe! I love their sandwiches and coffee. I also love all the wonderful events they do for charity within our community! Check this place out - you will not regret it!
