Notre accompagnatrice Mylène Boetsch a déployé ses ailes ! Le savoir-faire c'est son affaire ! On lui doit la réussite de ce voyage ! Nos chauffeurs n'ont fait qu'ajouter à notre bonheur et sécurité . Jean notre guide en Guadeloupe nous a montré son talent de raconteur et nous a comblé par ses choix de musique .Bravo à tous les voyageurs et voyageuses qui ont su y mettre beaucoup de sourires lors de nos chaudes journées ! Stay Put Malta
I enjoyed my tour of Malta. It’s a beautiful island country. Staying put was a real luxury. Free time also was appreciated. The Hilton Double Tree hotel was wonderful. Lots of food at the buffet at breakfast and dinner. The special meals at Christmas and New Year’s were magnificent.

This was my first Senior Discovery Tour. I usually travel solo. The tour was highly organized and provided very detailed information, a booklet and maps for us in our Welcoming Envelope. I met 9 wonderful women on this tour.

Having the bus terminal close by was an added bonus. For 2€ you can hop on the bus and go to Mdina, Valletta, Golden Beach or the Roman Road. Everything in Malta is close by.

My parents talked of the trips they enjoyed with Senior Discovery Tours over the years and last year I did my first trip with them to Croatia and Slovenia and I loved it! My friend and I would never have gone on our own but being fully escorted and every detail taken care of was fantastic! Look forward to doing more Senior discovery trips in the future!

It is a pleasure to write this review for Senior Discovery Tours (SDT). My husband & I had the opportunity to join SDT’s on the October 6th South Africa Tour! This was our very first group tour & life long bucket list trip for us. I must let you know my husband was skeptical of going on a group tour as he has always been that free spirit that has “winged it”. However at this stage of our lives I convinced him that letting professionals handle all the details was the way to go & that we would experience much more, have more fun, learn more, see more, all with less stress, as a result! And that is exactly what happened!

From the moment we contacted SDT’s about this tour, we had exemplary service. Every single person we interacted with were amazing! Knowledgeable, informative, timely, patient, friendly, completely transparent about costs, perfect follow up, they all hit-ball-out-of-park so to speak! SDT’s got the formula absolutely perfect as it relates to our South Africa Tour!

Our tour manager Daryl Dutton was outstanding & he went above & beyond to ensure that everyone was very well taken care of. His experience, professionalism & attention to detail did not go unnoticed as he made sure the tour was organized & flowing smoothly at all times.

Our South Africa Tour delivered exactly what we wanted! We saw three different countries, two game reserves, took planes, helicopters, safari trucks, boats, tour buses, had world class guides & stayed in first class lodges & hotels. We saw the big five (Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros, Elephant, & African Buffalo) as well as giraffe’s, zebra’s, baboons, warthogs, mongoose, kudu’s, hippo’s, impala, crocodiles, hyena’s, vultures, African wild dog, wildebeest, numerous other animals & at least 100 different bird species. We ate delicious, traditional South African dishes including Mopane (worm dish), biltong (African jerky), dried sausage, sipped wine, ate ostrich, kudu, crocodile, impala, warthog, elan, buffalo & watched the most incredible sunsets each night on the African Savanah. We saw Victoria Falls one of the seven natural wonders of the world & learned about apartheid, Nelson Mandela & walked some of the impoverished streets in Soweto. We drank wine from two of the oldest Dutch vineyards dating back to 1685, enjoyed a private wine estate, soil to fork garden lunch, watched whales in Hermanus Walkers Bay, took a boat ride to Seal Island, played with penguins, took the funicular to one of the oldest light houses at The Cape Of Good Hope, the south western most point of South Africa, rode the tram to the top of Table Mountain & dipped our toes in the Indian Ocean. Our drives took us along the stunning coastline, 20 million year old caves with amazing stalagmites & stalactites. I have more amazing pictures & memories that will live a lifetime & beyond. Above all, South Africa’s hospitality is legendary! Amazing trip, one that I will never forget!

For our South Africa trip, Daryl our tour manager, as well as our local tour guides & Senior Discovery Tours have delivered excellence on every level! Our tour was filled with like-minded Canadian travellers all whom enjoyed each other’s company, & all had amazing spirit & enjoyed laughing & sharing stories as well as pictures! SDT’s is customer focused, delivers a very high level of customer service, is completely honest & transparent, & not once did we feel nickel & dime’d throughout the trip!!  Our accommodation & amazing local tour guides on the tour were top notch & the information the guides shared with us was nothing less than impressive! We are more than a thousand percent satisfied, & have told so many of our friends & family of our excellent experience. We highly recommend & refer SDT’s & have already booked Greece in May!! Well done & thank you! PS: my husband now willingly agrees & tells all our friends, that a SDT is the only way to go! SDT’s know what their vision is & what they are good at, you know what your customers want, & you deliver 100% +++.  You have created raving fans in both my husband & I !!

My wife and I recently were clients of Senior Discovery Tours.
We went on a Stay Put vacation to Tuscany where we were a part of a group of 25 guests.
Firstly the Tour Manager was experienced and very well organized. Our tour manager greeted was at the airport in Rome with a welcoming smile ,once we were all together she led us to our bus where we had a four hour ride to Viareggio ,after a nice lunch and an opportunity to meet our fellow travellers. Although the ride was a bit longer than expected it was comfortable.
Senior Discovery Tours did an excellent job with all our tour activities, there was always a person that helped our tour manager guide us to wherever our tour took us and once at this location we had an additional guide who was very pleasant and knowledgeable about all things we would be seeing.
Our meals were very complete, breakfast had everything and our evening meals had 4 courses which were all very good . You made the selection the evening before ,the main course was either a fish or meat type meal.
Service by all the staff at the hotel was they couldn’t do enough to make our visit better.
The success of our visit to Tuscany was the result of our Tour Manager , she was never without a solution to any problem and never could do enough for all of us, we are all very grateful this care. If you have an opportunity to use Senior Discovery Tours do so.

Ecuador and The Galapagos Adventure Tour November 2024. It was the best so far of my more than half a dozen seriously well planned and organized tours with SDT. I travelled as a single in a fun, friendly group of mostly single individuals and a great Canadian tour guide aided by several knowledgeable local, and very professional guides.

We enjoyed our 4th SDT this past fall in the Channel Islands as we have the previous ones. Unfortunately had a visit to hospital but our tour guide, Linda B, took care of advising the insurance company. This was a smaller group and it worked well for day to day trips and there was sufficient free times, as there's been in all of the other tours we've been on. We're hoping to travel again this fall Europe is always great in the fall. Thanks to all at SDT who make "Seniors" travelling fun.
