Just returned from a mystery tour! Everything was organized well and all inclusive. So many activities including exploring caves which was my favourite. Corrine the driver was amazing and Sharon the tour guide was wonderful! I highly recommend Shoreline!

Just returned from the Agawa Canyon and Mackinac Island trip. Three Nights and four days. The bus was full with approximately 55 people on board with 75% being women. All of the passengers were seniors some with mobility issues. We had very early start times which was totally unnecessary.
Day One - On the road at 6 am. They kept the bus very chilly. People had jackets and hoodies on. On the loud crackly speaker above our heads we were told that there was a bathroom on board but they frowned on us using it "especially for #2 ". We were told that there would be stops at various places so we could go the the bathroom. Keep in mind that there were mostly women on the bus so that meant long lines for bathroom breaks. I feel like we spent most of our trip in line. The tour guide decided to put a movie in and we were subjected to watching Mrs. Doubtfire. First stop was at a Cracker Barrel for a bathroom break and lunch at 10:30 am. Way too early for lunch. Then back on the road to Sault Ste. Marie. It was a very long day on the bus and we were exhausted. The Water Tower Inn is very run down and needs a to be updated. It is dirty with a small bathroom. Would not recommend this hotel.

Day Two- Up at 6 am. Breakfast was served in a big room with large round tables. It was buffet style. We sat elbow to elbow and tried to eat breakfast at that hour. On the bus at 7:15 to catch the train that was leaving at 8 am. It was a ten minute drive to the train station so why were we on the bus that early? Line up to get on the train then sit and wait about 25 minutes before the train starts moving. Hurry up and Wait.
Be aware that you are seated in groups of four Knee to knee. No room to stretch your legs. Four hours there and four hours back. It was a very long uncomfortable day of sitting all cramped up. Especially since we did the same thing the day before on the bus. Very scenic but because of the length of the trip and the uncomfortable seating situation I would not recommend this trip to anyone. Back to the hotel dinner on your own. Casey's restaurant on site was good.

Day Three- Have your bags at your door by 7 am. We opted to go across the street to Tim Hortons instead of the offered buffet. A one hour drive to St Ignace to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island. This was the best day of our trip. Boat ride, Carriage Ride, Lunch at the Grand Hotel and free time. Back to mainland and stayed at the Harbour Point Resort. It is a very nice hotel on the water with pool and hot tub which we used that evening. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel and a day on Mackinac Island.

Day Four- Bags at the door for 7 am. Decent breakfast in the common room. On the bus to Frankenmuth. Stopped at McDonalds to use bathrooms. Long line up again. Lunch buffet was good but again seated elbow to elbow and it was served family style. Passing bowls around the table 🙁 Back on the bus and then another stop at Meijer/bathroom stop. Another long day sitting on the bus. Back to drop off at 6pm.

I really would not recommend this trip with Shoreline Tours.

It was a great experience on this cruise. We had a large group but we were well taken care off. Limited but nice food and drink options on board. Left on time and information shared about various spots on the way. Safety was taken care off. Overall a good experience.

Currently on SD bus trip. Driver and Director are fabulous, however, the person in the office who planned the trip was disorganized. Meals that should be included, aren't, attractions were substituted, not enough time to get to stops. Will update review at end of trip.
UPDATE. Shoreline has made everyone whole when it comes to the changes and have upgraded the rating to 4 stars. Truly, Bryce and Barb are the BEST!

Recently went on the Agawa Canyon & Mackinac Island your, Oct 10-13, 2023. Food provided at hotel was poor, hardly enough food to feed our tour group of 49 people. Food containers not replenished. The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Center was not ready for our group, their dinner was poor, video not working properly. We did not check into our hotel until 9:00 pm. Poor planning for day 1. Soo Locks, Mackinac Island brunch and the Agawa Train were good. Lunch provided by Shoreline on the train, no place to refrigerate. No real plan for dinner on our last day. Stopped at Cracker Barrel Friday at 6:00 pm. The place was packed and didn't appear they knew a large group was coming. I expect more coordination from group tour companies.

annoyed today

My mom and I wanted to go mexico in the summer. We went to the local travel agency down the road. People were very nice and helpful toward our travel. Atleast seemed helpful. We were told with areomexico that e would need to wait in between flights a total 8 hours. They said that that was the only way and there was no avoiding this wait time. We accepted the inconvenience so that we could go on our trip. They said with areomexico you could not prepay for luggage. Here we are in the airport paying an additional fee for not prepaying the tickets. We were also told that there was flights that we could have booked that would have avoided the 8 hour wait time. Overall it feels as if we could’ve done a better job booking our trip by just doing it ourselves online. Just for the extra info, all they did was use a trip planning website and read off the screen. After all of the hassle I do not recommend coming here and basically handing them your money for doing nothing.

We traveled on the Niagara Falls Light Tour in November 2018. The bus was up to date and comfortable and Carole, the tour director, did everything in her power to make it comfortable and entertaining. The hotel , Niagara Hilton, was chosen for the over night stay and was top notch. Dinner at the Skylon revolving restaurant overlooking the falls was exceptional. Two side bus tours were included in the trip that were very enjoyable. Although there was a glitch in the timing of the pickup, Shoreline more than made up for the inconvenience. It was a very pleasurable experience.

Beautiful day for a boat ride. Staff was friendly and helpful, boat was comfortable and calm, great views of the lake, mountains, homes, and more. Recommended.
