Came for ball tournament with a large group, instantly the two men working desk treated our group like we were annoying. Rooms on lv1 were not ready, many had bugs, one had water continuously coming up through floor... had asked weeks prior to coming if they had a BBQ we could use, they assured there was, then when we got there, it had "disappeared or been destroyed." Hotel is set up for workers passing through only, not a place I would recommend for groups. If the lady that works front could take over it would be in better shape, and feel like a hospitable place.

I’ve stayed at the Sigma Inn for the last two weeks while working with a nearby community. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are quite nice and the kitchenette is an added bonus. They have a regular sized fridge, 2 burners, a sink, and a microwave, which is incredibly handy for longer work trips where I was able to pack my own food. The room was cleaned daily which was nice to come back to after a long day. I appreciate the free breakfast in the morning - options include bagels, toast, waffles, a variety of cereals, microwave breakfast sandwiches, muffins, other pastries, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, apples, and oranges. They also had a variety of beverages including tea, coffee, juice, hot chocolate, and milk. There is plenty of parking in the front and back of the building and truck parking on the side. The location is very convenient, right off the highway. Despite it being so close to the highway, you could not hear the vehicles on the road at all while in the rooms. Overall a very pleasant stay and would stay again if I’m working in the area in the future.

Rooms were clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast needs improvement. Ran out and milk 2 days in a row. Waffles Ran out. Breakfast sandwiches were still frozen.

There was 8 dead flies on the window ledge and the window was covered in fly poop, room 413. I don’t think the housekeeping staff looked at the window. Now makes me wonder what else didn’t they clean…

Rooms are fine only because they’re kitchenettes. Stayed here for work all winter. Checked in once and they left food in the cabinets so room was not cleaned. Co worker checked in to a room that was clearly stayed in and not clean.

My biggest negative review is honestly customer service. I’ve stayed here about 7 times and that guy at the front desk has probably only said about 10 words to me. Work on your customer service, please.

We were traveling to Alberta from Ontario and after several days of camping we stopped here for a night. Great rates. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice and quiet. Right across road was groceries and restaurants. Continental breakfast was yummy. Great place to stop for the night. Will stay again next time we travel through.

It was not Sigma- room had bugs, loud throughout the night and alot of problems that should have been figured out before I arrived, overall very unprofessional

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were pretty well maintained and were quiet to sleep in. A little attention "around the edges" would be needed around the property to give it a higher rating. The manager was very accommodating when I asked him in advance for a crib/playpen for my grandson who was traveling with my son. He did not have one but went out and bought one (!) before we arrived which really helped us enjoy our stay. We will stay here again if traveling through Melville.
