Description

Le parking de Skutz Falls est un endroit propre et bien entretenu. Bien que l'espace ne soit pas très vaste pour la promenade et l'exploration, il est idéal pour ceux qui cherchent simplement à laisser traîner une ligne dans l'eau et à se détendre. Les visiteurs peuvent emprunter un sentier le long de la rive du fleuve jusqu'aux échelles à poissons. Cependant, attention, le courant est très rapide et il est important de veiller à la sécurité des enfants plus jeunes.

Il est également conseillé de bien surveiller les enfants et les chiens en raison du trafic léger de véhicules le long du chemin menant à l'arrivée au bord de la rivière. Bien que les véhicules roulent lentement, il se peut qu'ils ne vous aperçoivent pas et que vous ne vous y attendiez pas.

Les visiteurs quittent généralement le parking après environ 30 minutes et poursuivent leur route vers un autre endroit pour admirer les vues plus spectaculaires.

Not much of an area to walk and explore. More of a place to drop a line in the water and chill out. We walked from the lot along the riverbank to the fish ladders. The current is as fast flowing so take caution ⚠️ with the younger kids. We went back to the car after about 30 minutes and drove down to a new spot with better views. Be careful of vehicles coming up and down the short pathway to the river's edge, they travel slowly but they might not see you and you might not expect it so watch your kids and dogs while walking there too.

Lots of room to park, easy access to hiking and bike trails. Short walk to the river. A few picnic tables, which we used, it was very peaceful, we couldn't see the river, but could hear it, had a nice picnic and went for a walk along the river. It was a great time.

As parking lots go, this was decidedly average. Does it have an outhouse? Yes. Did I want to use that outhouse? No, the flies own that outhouse. They belong there, humans do not. Picnic tables were a nice touch, but lots of litter on the ground all throughout.
