I’m not from slave lake and needed to know if the emergency dept was open 24/7 so I called to inquire and asked the lady and she said very rudely yes, I asked what the wait times are and she said they don’t do wait times then she hung up on me. She was extremely rude, guess I’ll be going elsewhere

A lot of the nurses are rude and aren’t super helpful and treat people inhuman one nurse I have seen past few days has been rude and treated my grandmother like she is a chore rather than a human they also have not followed her diet orders. do not go into nursing if you don’t like helping people or can’t follow instructions slave lake hospital is notorious for having bad staff

Carr and Bassioni are the worst doctors I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Carr treated me like I was a complete idiot because I’m a new mom. I was embarrassed and upset when I left the ER with my daughter who had an ear infection. She and bassioni didn’t bother to do a swab so my daughter was given unnecessary antibiotics twice. I come to find out a week later that she had a viral infection not bacterial. I’ve had nurses throw blankets on me and not help me into a bed when could barely walk. I absolutely despise this hospital and its lack of care for human decency.

They dont even deserve 1 Star..... i went to family care clinc as walk in . I waited 2.30 hrs to See the doctor ... It was tottaly waste my time and I didn't even get to see doctor ..... The staff who work in front desk they are all dump .... One of the receptionist
said that I got mad , and same girl was telling I am next who doctor is gonna call .... She was telling me for hour and half and nothing happened for being I waited. staff who works at reception they are good at making jokes and laughs at front desk .. They don't really care who got there first who is waiting so long .... Waste my hours . Horrible Horrible experience I had on Thursday....

er and lab is fine. the family care clinic is a joke, they also talk about customers when they think they hung up the phone. maybe make sure it’s hung up next time guys.

Just like most other places in slave lake the people aren’t helpful at all almost forget they are being paid to be there, they are the least pleasant, least helpful, and don’t really serve a use other then wasting tax dollars

My name is Jason I was at this “hospital” asking for help I found the “help” appalling and degrading as well as the peace officer who was on duty he told me dying would be ok for me as I was suffering from pneumonia… disgusting treatment!!!!! 😡
