Excellent motel , excellent service. Excellent accueil et confort exceptionnel. Très bien situé, à proximité du centre ville et de la montagne de ski. On y retournera c’est certain lors de notre prochaine visite.

Snow Valley Lodge was a cozy little escape! The cabins are definitely compact, but they’re impressively well-equipped — everything you need is packed in: kitchen, toilet, shower, fridge, comfy bed, sofa, TVs, plus dishes, plates, and glassware. It’s like a tiny home with all the essentials.

I loved that dogs are welcome (huge plus for pet owners!), and the office hot tub was a great bonus after a long day outdoors. If you're looking for a snug, no-frills stay with all the basics covered, this place delivers. Just be ready for tight quarters — but honestly, it adds to the charm.

We stayed here on the long weekend for the demo derby with a few friends. The staff was awesome and let my friends check into their room extra early so they could settle their dog in the space. Our room was clean and comfortable. The outside shared space was great to hang out in as well. We will definitely be back.

Friendly and kind welcome. Room 35 - stylish and comfortable. ||Very good bed and bedding with a good shower and bathroom. Excellent decor. Really clean and welcoming. ||Easy to park. Lots of great recommendations and local info. (Someone obviously loves Fernie). ||A really good value place which was a pleasure to stay at.

Great location. Clean rooms although would benefit from soundproofing. However, they surreptitiously added a dog fee that was not justified and luckily we caught the addition. we found this lack of transparency ( I.e, they did not notify us about the extra expense and they concocted a false narrative about why it was added and later removed) troubling. therefore we would never recommend the place. Dubious billing negates all the positive aspects of the place.

We drove from Calgary and after a beautiful drive we arrived in Fernie at this sweet little motel! Booking was so easy, check in was a breeze, and the girl working on August 5 was absolutely wonderful! She greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel so welcome right away!

Parking was free and we were lucky enough to get a spot right outside our room which was perfect! The whole place had such a warm and cozy family feel! Our room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. A fridge, microwave, and a full bath which we really appreciated! The lighting was soft and welcoming and I absolutely loved the touch of locally made Fernie soap and body wash!

And the hot tub… what a treat! It’s private and you book a time slot in the lobby which was amazing because it gave us our own special family time to relax and soak after a long day! The location was also fantastic, we could walk to restaurants, grab treats, and explore so easily!

This place just felt so warm, charming, and thoughtful! We truly enjoyed our stay and I would 100% stay here again! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Fernie!

Nice place. Clean and our room had lots of space. Location is close to the main road and train tracks so it could be noisy although seemed quite during the night.
