Have been taking my vehicles here for a few years now for oil changes, tire replacement etc. The service is always excellent and the staff are personable. Got a great deal on new winter tires and rims and they were installed in great time and their storage of my off-season tires is so convenient! Renovations look great and the managers have always been so easy to work with when I call to book a job. They can expect my business for years to come and I have directed friends and family here as well!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !! I PRAY THAT NO ONE GOES THROUGH THE STRESS-FILLED NIGHTMARE THAT I WENT THROUGH.
Booked an appointment for an annual safety inspection on my big truck in late March. Dropped truck off for appointment on Friday. They didn't even look at truck until following Mon. Told my truck needed $6k in parts and labor for safety. It didn't. Reluctantly agreed because my safety had by then expired. Then told on Thurs that hubs (which did NOT need to be replaced)
would not be available until following Mon.
Decided enough is enough, told them to forget annual safety, I'll pay them what I owe them and cut my losses, move on. But no...
they had partially disassembled my truck and held it ransom, refusing to release truck until total amount paid. Then on following Mon told that a coolant line was leaking.
Mysterious because when truck was dropped off, it had no coolant leak. More delay, more expense. Finally got my truck...
2014 Cascadia..back. They had massaged an annual safety from realistically $4000 to $11800. No joke. DISASSEMBLING A VEHICLE THEN INCREASING QUOTE IS A
V I O L A T I O N OF CONSUMER LAW.
Total time off road 12 days.
TOTAL LOSSES - lost revenue and replacement of parts which did not require changing...
A STAGGERING $21000 CDN.
(Unnecessary work plus lost revenue).
Needless to say, litigation is pending.

Amazing and fast service! Called as my battery was dead, and I was stranded with small children in the area. They arrived fast, and were super friendly and fair. Really appreciated their professional assistance, and would definately highly recommend!

STAY AWAY FROM SOUTH END TIRECRAFT

This is the first time we have used South End Tirecraft in Parkhill. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with how our repair was handled. We contacted South End Tirecraft to ask them for an estimate & timing to replace all four brakes and rotors as well as a bearing on the rear driver’s side as it was “whining”. They advised it would be approximately $1,500 & could be done on Friday.
The whole experience started off very positive. We dropped off the vehicle on Thursday evening so they could start the repair first thing Friday morning. We were told it should be ready by lunch time. They told us the mechanics normally lunch in Grand Bend on Fridays. We asked if the car could be brought back to Grand Bend when they go for lunch. They advised yes & we were pleased as it avoided us from arranging for a ride to Parkhill to pick up the car.
This is where everything started to go very wrong. The brakes were repaired, however, the mechanic deemed it was the rear passenger side bearing that needed to be replaced, not the driver side. He went ahead & replaced the other side without contacting us. In the process of installing the wrong bearing, they damaged the ABS sensor, which now needed to be replaced. The part would not be available until Monday.
We advised we could not be without a vehicle over the weekend. We asked whether the car could be driven without the sensor & were told yes. We now needed to arrange for a ride to Parkhill to pick up the vehicle.
At that point, we were told to bring the car back on Monday at 1pm. The repair would take approximately an hour & we could wait for the vehicle.
Once we drove the car on Friday evening, we could hear the same “whining” from the driver side bearing as we originally indicated. We texted the mechanic to let him know the driver side bearing was still an issue. He advised he would order the part & install on Monday afternoon.
We returned on Monday at 1pm as requested. We waited 4 ½ hours for the vehicle! To add to the already very frustrating repair experience, they damaged the ABS sensor on the driver side. This meant another part order & return trip to the shop to have it replaced. Back we went on Tuesday afternoon for the ABS sensor to be installed.
The worst thing…being charged an additional $900 for parts & labour for the bearing we originally requested to be replaced plus the cost of the two ABS sensors they damaged. This is completely unacceptable. It took THREE trips to the shop plus we are out of pocket $900 for their inability to properly diagnose a bearing issue & then damaging two sensors. Not sure whether they are increasing revenue for the shop by disregarding customers requests & damaging parts & then charging the client or they are just plain incompetent!
Needless to say, we will never return to this shop ever again. We will share our horrible experience with all our friends & neighbours & advise NOT to use South End Tirecraft.
