We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.

Pro:
1. The hotel room itself was newly renovated—very clean, modern, and well-organized. However, one minor downside was that the bathroom fan was either missing or broken, making it feel quite stuffy.

2. The complimentary breakfast included muffins, bagels, waffles, toast, orange juice, coffee, and fruit, which was a good basic option.

3. One thing we appreciated was the large open field behind the hotel, which was perfect for our service animal. They also had a convenient pet waste station available, which made it easy to clean up after her and added to the overall pet-friendly experience.

Con:
1. When we first arrived, the front desk staff greeted us with an unfriendly attitude. She seemed to assume we were walk-in guests, even though we had a reservation. Once she realized we had a reservation, she apologized, but I wish she had simply asked whether we had a reservation from the start—it would have made the check-in experience more professional.

2. We had arranged a late check-out at 12 PM and placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but a housekeeper still came by and interrupted my meeting. I found that to be unprofessional as well.

3. Another downside we noticed was the poor noise isolation. We could clearly hear the TV from the room next door at night, which made it hard to fully relax and get a good night’s sleep. Better soundproofing would definitely improve the overall comfort of the stay.

Overall, I think the hotel offers good value if the price is under $150 per night, but I wouldn’t consider it worth it if the rate goes higher than that.

This one night stay, is my second visit here. Never will we return and never will we recommend to anyone to stay here. We're here in Oshawa for important family matters and required a clean and quiet place to sleep for the night. Apon arriving @ 9:30pm for reservations we had made earlier. We discovered that there was a hockey tournament staying here at the same time.There were crowds of parents and kids outside, running around and partying. There were takeout food containers thrown all around, which we needed to step over to enter the building. Once we stepped in side, we were faced with a bunch of kids running up and down the halfways, including first floor and second floor, along with the stairs wells. After we approached some of the kids running and playing literally outside our room door just past 10pm. We went out and explained that we had a very long day, could the please be mindful of other people trying to sleep. The activities continued and we have called to speak to the front desk 3 times to express our frustration and after the 3rd call to the front desk, we were told that he has spoken to the parents sitting in the front lobby. Then continued to tell us that the kids were only running on the first floor, but not the second floor where we are staying. Then follows up with the curfew for noise is the building was 11:30pm. Did I also mention the rate for our room doubled to over $600 for one night, due to a hockey tournament. This Should be illegal.
Shame on Hilton for price gouging. Shame on the parents for not teaching your kids how to behave and respect other people. Shame on the idiot behind the desk answering our calls, and lying to us about an 11:30 pm noise curfew, because he was tired of dealing with us and didn't resolve the situation.

Positive: Beds were fairly new in our room(238) very comfy and clean. Big screen TV, Good sized fridge Negative: no microwave in room. No staff at front desk at check out time.

Positive: The location was ok Negative: There were bed bugs in the hotel room, the bit my 10 years old daughter all over causing sores on her body. The supervisor was rude to after i was told by staff to pack my clothes in a bag and the hotel would heat them for me as I requested.
