I definitely chose right when I chose Spindrift for my kids to join us to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday. We all loved the cabins and the views from the cabin decks were so serene. We walked the grounds to the beach and point several times and I snuck away there on my own a couple of times just to take in the quiet and natural beauty. We made a lot of use of the BBQ by picking up fresh food in town, but we also enjoyed the town pubs, cafes and the famous Saturday market! The Spindrift cabins were very clean and totally comfortable. We especially appreciated the extra touches, such as the bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us with a card for my husband! But Scooby was especially thankful for the dog biscuits left for him!

A piece of paradise! This is our second stay at this beautiful place. Where to begin describing Spindrift cottages are clean, well run and an amazing location on a spit of land with ocean on either side - the cottages all overlook the water. Close to all amenities and a short run into Ganges. Our little pup was warmly welcomed and had the best vacation of her life. We loved it so much that we immediately booked another visit for later this summer!

We loved our stay at Spindrift cottages on Saltspring island. It is 6 acres of land on a spit with 2 beaches, forested areas with seating to take in the fantastic views of the ocean in either side of the spit. There are only 6 cottages, quiet and reasonably priced. The cabins are comfortable, clean with all you will need for your stay. They all have decks and face the ocean. It is a short drive to town, amenities and ferries. Highly recommended

Very beautiful and quiet. We stayed in Rose Cottage which was spic and span when we arrived. We stayed for 6 nights and spent our afternoons on the newly rebuilt 50 foot deck overlooking Ganges Harbour looking at the view and watching the harbour seals and birds. The property, which is a 5 minute drive from the ferry, is very beautiful with old Douglas Firs and Arbutus trees, 2 white shell beaches, a lookout with adirandack chairs and many daffodils. We have stayed there before and keep coming back. A very exceptional property.

Spindrift is a place to go to to refresh your spirit and soul. It is peaceful and absolutely magical. We have been going every year for the last while and can’t wait to get back in a couple of weeks. The cottages are sweet and spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. If you want to get lost in time this is the place to go!

We loved our week here at Spindrift Cottages. It was so peaceful - they are nestled in 6 acres on a spit, with adirondack chairs positioned here and there for the best views at any time of day. You can see the sun rise on the east side, the point during the day, and spectacular sunsets on the west side. Even though there are 5 other cabins, most of the time you feel like you have the entire property to yourself. We stayed in the one bedroom Charlotte cabin. Very private and clean. Friendly owners and 2 small but private sandy beaches. We will be returning asap!

Amazing place to get away from the big city, we totally enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Lots to see with boats coming to the little town while sitting on the many chairs provided. Just AMAZING!! Cottage was clean and rustic, and everything was provided to enjoy your stay.

What a wonderful place! Spindrift is well located: it is right next to the ferry terminal and a quick drive to Ganges (Salt Spring's biggest town). The property is a serene, secluded peninsula, with two white sandy beaches, lovely trails, and gorgeous views of the ocean. The cottages are cosy, well equipped, and comfortable. I loved the private deck and found the cottage's binder to be very informative of Spindrift and Salt Spring Island. Everyone we met here at Spindrift was friendly and very kind. This is a wonderfully dog friendly place, while still being peaceful. Our pup loved playing at the dog beach (dogs can be off leash at one of the two beaches) and meeting lots of other dogs here. Spindrift is a remarkable place; we feel very fortunate to have gotten to spend a week here!
