Was not very happy with this ghost tour, though the tour started off pretty cool at a creepy church with the guide in costume, it lacked an intimacy that the best walking tours have. Chatting with the guests and seeing where everyone was from and small talk. I found this tour guide to be in character and let’s get it over with as fast as possible. Very hilly walk, fast paced, no bathroom stop despite being told there would be one…had I gone I would have been left behind! We just left the tour 15 minutes early.

This was awesome! I live in St. John’s, and I thought the route was so cool, got to see alleys and areas I’ve never been to before. The stories were excellent and the guides were so engaging! We went to both the sinners hike on the Monday and the ghoulies hike on the Tuesday, and they were surprisingly/pleasantly different and both very well done!

We did this about 2 years ago with the kids and loved it !! The guide is so entertaining and engaging and does a wonderful job getting into character and story telling. He is what makes the haunted hike what it is. Lived here most of my life and learned things and about places I never knew. Wonderful experience

One of my favorite ghost tours I've been on. Chilling and interesting spots and stories. The guide had a clear and loud voice. Loved how he playfully encouraged suspending disbelief instead of skepticism, made the tour creepier. The haunted empty lot walk through was a genuinely scary experience. All while still being family friendly!

My family and I had a lot of fun on this haunted walk. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this entertaining outing is worth going to, as you will learn interesting (albeit a tad macabre) facts about St. John's history, while also being captivated by a gifted storyteller.

Note: Our guide moved quickly, so we finished in one hour. I mention this because some people in our group were expecting a 75-minute walk.

Very interesting and chilling stories from locations around a small portion of St Johns. If you like history and is curious about the paranormal you will enjoy this hike!

We have gone twice.
Once on the first day of the tour in May and again July.
We had 2 different guides and both of them were absolutely awesome at story telling.
Will be going every time we visit.

Fantastic! The Haunted Hike in St. John's is a great way to spend an evening. The host is an exceptional storyteller, and the historical spooky local stories are captivating.

Expect walking, hills, and stairs at night. The movement of the tour is slow and the host stops periodically to make sure the group stays together, and is gathered to safely cross the roads.
