Pierre, our guide, shared so many historical and fun facts on the tour... possibly the best tour taken of it's type. Can't recommend it enough... already told 5 other tourist groups!!

We did the food tour and it’s one of the best walking tours we’ve ever done, and we’ve done many. Our guide Tyra was super knowledgeable and engaging and she really made learning Newfoundland and St. Johns history fun and memorable. She also cheerfully answered all of our questions and by the time we were done we really felt like we’d gotten to know what it’s like to be a Newfoundlander. And the food was delicious! Great tour! Highly recommend.

Loved the tour! Loved the walk! Loved the city! St John’s has a rich and vibrant history. What better way to learn about it than from Pierre! He knows the place well and his vibrant descriptions of the people and events that made the city and province what it is made the tour a must for visitors. I bet locals could learn a lot as well. We walked (with interesting stops) for 2 3/4 hours, which just flew by. History, politics, fires, the unique time zone, joining Canada, location and more were covered. Highly recommend. And when I return I will likely do this tour again, I truly enjoyed it.

Thank you Pierre for an excellent walking tour! We were a family group of 8 (grandparents, parents, and grandchildren in strollers)

We took this tour on our first day in St.John’s, and we’re so glad we did! It helped us get acquainted with its history and geography. After leaving this tour everywhere we looked we had a little story to remember.

Pierre had the right combination of knowledge and humour to make this a very fun and informative tour. Pierre was incredibly, personable and kind. He answered all our questions, was patient with us and the needs of the children, and made great recommendations (things to see, eat, drink, experience) for later in our trip.
