The Star no longer functions as a Motel. The older couple that owns the place live upstairs above the office and are the nicest people you could ever have the chance to meet.
The Star is naow used as the homepless prevention ad a bridge between being homeless and permanent housing. They allow your fur family to stay with you as well. I am extremely grateful for everything that everyone does around here to help us all everyday

The owner john is friendly and helpful. Rooms arn't as clean as you would expect and the place is full of all different types of bugs and insects. the floor moves like a teeter totter when u walk across the room. There is no way to control the heat in the room and the windows let in alot of cold air. The furniture and curtains and some appliances are very old (50+ years) and this motel is in the middle of no where.If you have no where else to go then it will do.

I was there for about a month
The owner were so respectable kind caring and compassionate
The owners always made sure the rooms had what they need comfortable beds on the most part
It may not be for most people but I enjoyed my stay

Quaint rooms and down to earth friendliness will have me return to stay on my next business trip. Some of the rooms contained live-in residents that added to the feel of home away from home

We stay at Star Motel every Friday 13th and enjoy our stay a great deal. The owners are friendly with outstanding service and accomodations. Prices are very reasonable.
