Had an amazing first-time glamping experience! The dome was super clean, modern, and very comfortable. Loved the well-equipped shared kitchen and cozy fire pit area—great for connecting with others staying in nearby domes. Peter, the host, was absolutely fabulous—responsible, friendly, and checked in every morning to make sure we had everything we needed. Truly a hidden gem and the perfect place to recharge and rejuvenate. Highly recommend!

This was by far our best camping experience! The tents were spotless, modern, and fully equipped. There was absolutely no need to bring kitchen supplies, toiletries, or anything else—everything was thoughtfully provided. Just pack your clothes, toothbrush, and toothpaste! The host was incredibly responsible and welcoming. We mentioned as feedback that the shower hanger was a bit high for me, and within an hour, they had installed a lower one in the bathroom! Truly an exceptional experience!

My partner and I stayed at Stay Wilder for 2 nights and had a great experience overall—perfect for our first time camping. We brought our own food and really enjoyed using the well-equipped kitchen. The bed was surprisingly comfy, and the location is excellent for exploring the Sunshine Coast.

The only downside was the water situation. Showers were recommended to limit to 1–2 minutes, which was very difficult—especially for someone with long hair (and they even provided shampoo), it was nearly impossible to wash my hair within that timeframe. We were also charged $50 extra for additional water, but this fee wasn't mentioned to us ahead of time—it was just added after the water was sent. Also, our water pump seemed to have an issue. It had to be unplugged whenever not in use, or it would make a really loud noise. Interestingly, the pump in the shared kitchen area didn’t have that problem.

We still had a lovely time and would consider returning, but better communication around the water policy would make the experience even better.

We stayed for two nights at the Stay Wilder Eco Glamping Resort and had a great experience overall.

Washroom – The toilet was much better than expected! It was clean and completely odour-free. Since water is limited, they recommend keeping showers to 1–2 minutes, which was a bit of a challenge for me, haha. If the water runs out mid-shower, your partner will need to swap out the water tank, which can be a bit chilly while you wait! Taking a shower in winter could be even tougher, so I highly recommend making sure the water tank is full before you start.

Kitchen – The shared kitchen is well-equipped with pans, plates, utensils, stoves, and more. We brought a small stove just in case, but we didn’t end up needing it. However, if someone else is using the kitchen, you’ll need to wait your turn, so it’s a good idea to bring quick and easy meals like cup noodles just in case. Personally, I would have preferred a private kitchen in each dome since I love cooking in my own space 😅.

Room – The room was spotless and super cozy. It was so quiet and peaceful that we ended up oversleeping! I especially appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine, the comfy queen-sized bed, and the electric stove to keep us warm.

We drove a regular sedan to get there, and there were a few bumps on the road, but nothing we couldn’t handle.

One thing to note: there are quite a few mosquitoes, so I recommend bringing bug spray or mosquito coils!

Me and my partner booked at stay wilder through Expedia, there was a bit of a mix up and they allowed us to book our stay for the same day which normally isn’t possible.
We contacted Peter the owner and he paused the hockey game to come down and get us set up that evening.
Our experience with stay wilder was absolutely incredible. It’s a beautiful spot with all the necessities you could need. It’s better then any hotel and I honestly did not want to leave.
Peter and his wife have created a beautiful spot, with a setup to have a fire and cook up a nice meal while tucked away in the rainforest you really can’t find places like this anymore.
We will be travelling back to the Sunshine Coast just to stay here.

This was such an amazing glamping experience! The site and dome were beautiful, comfortable, and quite clean. They have a private individual washroom for each domes, a cozy fire pit area, and a well-equipped community kitchen, with propane heater. The latter made it very comfortable for us during rainy day.

The icing on the cake was Peter, the host. He was very friendly, quick & responsive and helpful to our questions & inquiries. He was very responsible, and went above & beyond to ensure that not only we had everything we needed but also for our stay to be as comfortable as possible.

I do hope that he will expand his Glamping operations to Vancouver and other parts of BC or AB. That would make a lovely trip while confidently knowing that we would be staying in a similar beautiful place like we had here in Sechelt~

Get away from the city and vacation on this island. Cooked hot pot at the campsite, went hiking and boating. Thanks to friendly helpful campsite host, Agnes. This getaway was incredibly enjoyable and a wonderful experience.
