Very nice park, beautiful scenery, but not accessible to the Falls for strollers or those with mobility challenges (lots of stairs down to the Falls). The "easy" path is stroller friendly, but it has lots of hills so be prepared with proper footwear.

This short hike is fairly easy with a hilly, forested area, new bridge, plenty of steps and follows a lovely creek to a waterfall. Not populated, serene, well maintained and definitely worth it!

We stopped here and biked into Ladysmith. The park is beautiful, with nice interconnected trails, and much of the park is passable on a bicycle. The waterfall was worth a short walk down the wooden stairs to see as well. One star off for limited amenities, and the fact that it was easy to get turned around a couple times.

This parking lot provides access to one of the hidden gems of the region. The park is managed by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) who does a great job maintaining the park and it's ammenities.

Located in the bottom of a forest river valley Stocking Creek winds it's way amongst a lush moss covered forest featuring Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar and Giant Maple.

The trail meanders along the the river until it reaches the stunning Stocking Creek Falls. The Falls feature a well built set of stairs on the west side of the river for viewing. During low flow times of the year you can cross the river and return on the other side to complete a full loop.

In Spring when the rains are the heaviest and snow from the mountains is running off as melt water the waterfall is powerful and raging. In Fall the waterfall is a more calm flow but the colors of the falling maple leaves is stunning.

A real treat to visit and in 2018 the park will also be connected to the Great Canadian Trail and can be hiked or biked to all the way from Chemainus.

Paths are clear and easy to walk. The waterfall is really lovely and a series of staircases brings you close enough the feel the spray of water.

A well-maintained trail
Some interesting Bridges
Water was very low in August
Quite enjoyable and an easy walk some parts were relatively steep. We avoided the stairs and the waterfall.
This little shelf waterfall was very sweet
And the highlight of our walk
