It was a room! ..... Very expensive for a room maybe 12x12 in size with a little bathroom. No carpet on the cold floor anywhere in the room.
$140.00 + tx (same as a Comfort Inn) and $40. refundable deposit.
No booklet with any local restaurants, cab info etc.
I've rented bigger motel rooms while traveling with everything plus a kitchette, for under $100. per night.

I would never stay here again.

WORST HOTEL FOUND HIDDEN CAMERAS.
GUESTS(tenants) Given Access to motel guest bathroom windows and have been caught and charged for recording unsuspecting guests men women and children particularly when guest are assuming privacy in the motel bathrooms.
The owner is aware of this but remains concerned about his financial benefits over that of his temporary guests. The people recording guests have systematically been doing so for many years and this is currently and despicably still going on.
The motel is not a nice place to stay.Much is not properly cleaned or maintained and the rooms are extremely over priced. And prices differ depending on the owners greed, ignorance and judgement each and every applicable day.

The owner is a sad reminder of an individual who has much self reflection to do before he could ever genuinely personally or professionally reflect in any possible way to be and or even to interact with a level of self respect or decency. And as he's shamelessly made very clear to particularly demonstrate his weak-minded mentality when in the presence of a woman no men and with people of various ethnicities.

As for the few interactions had with his adult sons (grown men). The experience was a welcomed and complete contrast to that of the motel owner i.e their miserable, inconsiderate, inappropriate, rude father.This Stoney Creek Motel is horrible in absolutely all possible aspects, the rooms, the overall service all it has too offer no one should willingly subject themselves to that type of unnecessary punishment . This Motel is Hell
It's unquestionably Horrible and evidently it's an accurate reflection of the person in charge accurate to the individual that is the motel owner.

Money is money is money. This half a man at the front desk reminds me of a female bank teller I once had. He is foreign and should return to his birthplace because he doesn't seem to understand what it's like to be a solid Canadian lad. My wallet was taken but I had sufficient digital identification. He was having none of it. I clenched my fist bit my tongue and left the property. My phone a female friend of mine who resides around the corner sent her in and got things done. I think this is what late great Gord Downey had in mind when he put the lyrics 'he's 38 years old... never kissed a girl' to paper. .

Well it's under new management (kinda), and things have improved a bit---the thing to remember here is this IS a low-budget motel so comparing to a $220-$300 is kinda apples to oranges.

Rooms are tidy but not spotless, it's more like crashing in a friend's spare room, ok? You get a microwave, fridge & window A/C, and a bed. Most rooms have bathtubs which I appreciate.

Right on Highway 8, so plenty of food & shopping close by, even if you walk or bike. The guy running the place is decent & they accept cash or credit/debit. It's not the Hilton, but if you're just planning to eat sleep & shower anyway, should be adequate.

Personally, I'm glad there are still places like this that aren't snobby or pretentious. If you just need a room as opposed to a resort, here you go.

I didn't go in but the people I know there were both bitten by spiders and more than one bite. They are moving out of there. Don't go to this motel.

My grandfather's farm is in Poland is in a more humane state than this place. Smoking room, spider webs are so old on the walls nicotine tarr is stuck for ages..no blanket to sleep under, just a thin matress sheet...air-conditioning is soo loud, and so is a fridge so loud, had to pluck all out of the wall., no lamp covers, just bare light bulbs sticking out of the lamps also covered with nicotine spider webs. Holes in the ceilings cracked brown nicotine walls.
Had to go to a loundmat and wash all my clothes from the nicotine smell in that room. 120 $. Hilton is around 180
