Large, clean rooms. Very good, especially for the price point. Service is good. The only real down point is that the deposit required to use debit card instead of credit card is higher than most places.

One of the few remaining hotels that still has smoking rooms, which makes it my go to stop. Apart from this one, there are few in Edmonton proper that are not nearly as good as this one. That said, there is a note in the room that states they want to transition to fully non-smoking. If they do, then I will have to lower my standards.

Seems clean, rooms are fairly large. Small portable heater was heat for the room. The fridge and microwave were are on the same circuit so it trips the breaker if you use the heat and microwave at the same time. Smelled faintly of cigarettes. Noisy are. From desk staff seemed very busy but helpful and friendly.

Lets go with the positive first, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Claudette, we had A small problem with the front desk manager Megan over A late checkout. Housekeeping staff were amazing and helpful. The restaurant staff were incredible, hats off to them and the food was great| We were at the hotel for seven days, the first two days were spent in A nonsmoking room which smelled of smoke after the deodorizer was gone . The halfway reaked of smoke, however the a/c worked great. | After two days we moved into A room with A kitchenette, the hot plate was filthy and didn’t heat up worth A damn. Chairs were filthy and needed cleaning. Carpet needed to be steam cleaned. The A/C didn’t work at all, but the maintenance people tried hard to fix it and the outside air temperature was +30 deg. Then there was bugs in the room crawling around the floor, we killed six of them and brought one to the front desk, she didn’t seem to be very concerned, we took a picture.| The hotel is definitely suffering from being outdated and run down and definitely needs to be renovated. The staff however are great for the most part and needs to be commended for their hard work and friendly attitude.

We booked online through Expedia looking for a pet friendly room. We showed up to then find that their pet friendly rooms are also their smoking rooms (which was not disclosed before or upon booking). Neither myself or my husband are smokers and we had our children with us. The smell in the room was absolutely atrocious and by no means ignorable. This is after a rather frustrating conversation with the desk attendant that resulted in us having to pay a $500 deposit. After complaining about the room they did offer a refund, however, we needed to find other accommodations first. That venture took 1.5 hours and when my husband was finally able to go in and ask for the refund they refused to refund one of the nights because “we said no to the refund first”…
Very unpleasant experience all around. If I could rate negative stars I would.
As a small amount of context, we fairly last minute needed to travel to the Edmonton area to attend a funeral.

Central location and friendly staff make for a nice stay. Bed frame quality was terrible and quite old. Aside from that the room was clean.

Booked on booking site as when I called in to book direct the staff was rather rude unhelpful. Ended up being put in a disgusting smoking room booked non-smoking had to suffer a nite of asthma attacks. Front desk staff only solution provided was pay in full for a second room that is non-smoking and try to get my money back from booking site at a later date. I asked for to be transferred to non-smoking and they said only one available was a king not 2 beds was more $ and I couldn't just pay the extra fee to change rooms. We checked in at 11pm after a full days work all we needed was a restful nite of sleep for the following days work. ZERO compassion from staff about this and the construction noise right outside our room.

Do not book this Inn, we booked for September 21, room was freezing and we were informed that the heating was turned off and would not be turned on until until October 1, pool and sauna are not available, ice machine is out of order. If we could score it zero we would.

Clean, affordable and friendly. What else could you want? Super nice room and exactly what we needed. Playpen brought up immediately and it was almost brand new. Serious props for that.
