We had a great fishing trip with 2 boats, 5 adults and 4 kids. We caught 12-15 fish per boat over the course of a 1 day trip. Was great to have the 2 boats with # generations of our family all on the river close by in case one of us hooked into a big enough fish to warrant the whole family coming ashore.
We caught several fish close to 6ft, and saw 2 other boats catch substantially much larger fish within 100 yards of our boat. Was amazing to see the 9+ foot fish on shore and some very happy anglers.
We were beyond impressed with the entire team from Nicole to the guides from start to finish. We look forward to booking another trip as a family.

Fishing adventure of a lifetime!

This was my husband’s third trip with Sturgeon Hunters and for good reason!

Correspondence with Nichole was pleasant, quick and easy. Detailed itinerary and hotel confirmation was emailed right away.

Dan was an excellent guide with a true passion for these incredible fish. It’s obvious he never gets tired of seeing them! Thanks to his expertise, we landed 12 fish in 2 days! Sizes ranged from 1.5 feet to just over 7 feet!
Each fish was a totally unique experience; different behaviour on the line, appearance, temperament and body armour.

We had some incredible views on the mighty Fraser. A bear crossing the river, eagles scooping fish accompanied by a breath taking landscape.

Rest up, Dan! We will be back!

We visited Chilliwack and had the pleasure of being guided by Steve on Good Friday. He was very knowledgeable and obviously knows what he’s doing - we didn’t catch any true monster fish but caught quite a few significantly large ones. It was a new experience for us and we had a lot of fun. The great weather helped. Thanks Steve!

Spent the day on the Fraser with Danny, super knowledgeable guide that was great to spend the day with. It was a slower day however we managed to hook into a couple big Sturgeon. This one was a couple inches shy of 9 feet.

Three generation family trip with two boats and it did not disappoint! Nicole was fantastic and once we got on the boat Steve was great with the entire crew. And the fishing was awesome, twelve sturgeon landed with multiple in the 5'-6' range and five over 7' including an 8' and a whopper at 9'! Amazing trip.

We booked 2 days in hopes of catching a "decent" sturgeon. 1st day may have been considered slow, but our guide Rod was really grinding to catch fish. We landed 2 nice fish, the second day with Rod was awesome, as each member of our party landed multiple fish. Each of us were able to land a fish over 7.5ft long! Final fish was probably close to 400 lbs! Hope to get back for a 3rd time if it works out.

We had an epic trip with Steve Kaye from Sturgeon Hunter! He truly is the GOAT guide on the Fraser River, extremely knowledgable, friendly and funny.
We went with our family members aged 9-75 and all had a blast! Reeled in 3 dinosaurs in a 4 hour trip.
