I work at a medical office and often our elderly and low-mobility patients will take the transit...Today a sweet little elderly lady asked me to call for her ride home. I tried and tried and tried to get through continuously getting the busy signal. When we finally got through we had to hold for an agent...we were on hold for over 15 minutes and our office was about to close. Thankfully another patient offered to drive her home, but what would this lady have done if not?...Your phone answering system needs some work.

Not at all ideal if you're injured or disabled. The wait and travel times are extremely long. So much so that I can't safely use the service. My scheduled doctors appointment would have been an 8 hours round trip to a building 10 minutes away. I am horribly unwell and can't tolerate that kind of excursion. I'm terribly sad at the moment. I don't know what to do.

So just saying, I just watched bus number 19094 handi gova transit tail gate me all the way up Bancroft, he was going at least 20 over the limit ( in town) then watched him tailgate 2 other cars up the kingsway.. I would love to have reported him but I can't find a phone number for them 😳... Very unsafe the way he was driving...

Staff are super rude and unprofessional. Also, not allowing an individual on the bus because they have too many groceries (apparently a total of four bags that are carried both by helper and individual are too much, all of which would fit on our legs and not have been used by an empty seat). They obviously have no comprehension as to why people use this service to begin with. Not everyone can take the bus three days a week to get all of their groceries done, there's a reason individuals using this service sometimes have a "helper" because they can't go at it alone and these helpers also don't come free. I'm not one to write reviews but it's time things change with the staff working there and the policies.

They'll make a senior wait for over 2 hours in the cold for a return ride. The staff are very rude, and very unprofessional. It's terrible that this is the service that's provided for our eldrly and disabled. This service is a discrace to our communtiy.

I have always had great service from the drivers and other staff, not being able to no longer drive I would not have my social life without them. Keep up the good job, and a big thankyou to you all

Everyone I've ever dealt with is friendly and helpful. I've read some of the negative reviews here and can't believe it. I've been using Handy for over 28 years (off and on), and have been treated fairly and professionally each and everytime. Kudos to the gang that work their butts off to get us to where we need to be....it can't be easy.
