Ever since the new manager was hired, there has been so many more activities for both adults and kids. The location is peaceful and relaxing, which is what we were looking for when we bought our trailer. The park is always clean and the staff is very friendly.

Big lots, nice trees, privacy and bathrooms are overall decent. Staff there are reasonable, can be a bit pricey for a monthly but If you’re looking for a place to park the trailer for awhile this one ticks a lot of boxes. I’d recommend putting a little fence or something to block travel infront of the cabins near to the main intersection as I had a lady pop out of there early am as I was as leaving.. she was dressed in all black and it’s kind of a blind spot, if you have two people rushing it could create an incident.

Enjoy my weekends at the campground. Staff is friendly and the fellow campers make it feel like a home away from home. I really enjoy the music on the weekends and one of these days I plan to try my luck at chocolate bar bingo. Thanks for another great season!

We have stayed here in the cabins before and it was perfect when it was jellystone, now it's nothing to rave about. We wanted to come camping before the end of the season. Paid in full before arrival. No big deal but an unexpected medical appointment has forced us to not be able to attend. we only asked if we could get a credit for a future date (willing to book it in advance) told nope and to bad we're keeping your payment (deposit). Management is completely garbage and I'll most likely never camp here after this experience. Sad that they bought jellystone and running this place to shit just to make it a seasonal only place to relax.

Our experience at Sun Retreats was amazing!! There's plenty of activities for everyone. Chocolate bar bingo has got to be my favourite! Who doesn't want Chocolate bars!! The staff is friendly and helpful. I will always recommend going here! Thanks for the great time!!

Our experience was amazing. The facilities were very clean, including the pool. Staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Our grandchildren had an awesome time in the little kids' pool and on the bounce hill. We will definitely go again and would highly recommend Sun Retreats Amherstburg.

We stayed in one of the cabins the first weekend of June. Very disappointed. The price for the cabin was way to high for what we got. We had to bring all our own bedding, towels and dish and bathroom sink soap. It had a coffee maker but no filters. Everything was bare minimum. We were not told before we got there that the pool was not open. I emailed the company with our complaints and no one has gotten back to us. I have rented many cabins in the past for less money that had all bedding etc supplied. All we have had to bring is food and clothes. The park itself is nice and the people are nice as well. Just need to offer way more amenities or drop the price.
