Darren was a huge help when I was in a bind. He was so kind and accommodating. His kindness and effort to help me out was very heart warming. The location of sunbeam is so convenient close to a local grocery store, ice cream/pizza place, gas station and chip stand. Beautiful beach and dock across the road. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful retreat!

What an amazing place! My wife and I spent a week in late Sept this year. Darren and Sarah were the most wonderful hosts. We met and had great times with other guests and some of the residents that made our stay a special one to always remember. Jimmy is also the man…go fishing with him! You will be glad you did. We can’t wait until next year. See you all again soon 😁

I've been coming here for almost 18 years. I just realized I've never left a review. Sorry. Hands down, the best kept grounds and equipment I've ever seen. Attention to detail is impeccable. Great place for fishing and relaxing. I've brought family and friends and recommend this great spot for anyone looking for a great vacation. Rooms 4 star bring mattress pad if bad back. But manageable without. Location 4 star because the road separates the beach and boats from cottages.

At first seemed ok until the owner Darren repeated something that only my wife and I would have known obviously there's microphones and or cameras in the cottages BEWARE BEWARE !!!
THEN THE REAL FUN BEGAN
was told to park my vehicle in a specific spot it was spring time and left a couple of ruts in the specified parking spot that a rake could easily fix was stayed there for 5 months over the winter was asked by Darren when I would be leaving pretty soon i replied ok he said moved out of the cottage a couple of days later next I get a call from my employer saying that Darren has contacted them and told them they were responsible for damages to the parking spot specified by Darren threatening my employer with a lawsuit for damages and told them to pay or else my employer was very distraught over the thought of a lawsuit so they paid the damages Darren claimed $2000.00 for a couple of ruts in the spot he specified that I park nonetheless my employer was blackmailed to pay this money hence then taking it off of my pay which left me in a very compromising position eventually shortly after I was fired from my job that I'd happily been at for a couple of years wow Darren your a real piece of work you must enjoy staying up at night listening to your guests without there consent and scamming money any way you can . I highly do not recommend this place due to the owner beautiful spot bad owner thanks Darren much appreciated your awesome NOT...
I see he thinks he's all that ,can't even thank the people that left him good reviews ,SAD.

What can I say except this is the ONLY place you want to consider for a northern Ontario fishing vacation. My friend has been coming here for the last 25 years and I can see why - Darren and his wife Sarah are beyond accommodating and will go out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need for a pleasant relaxing stay. The cabins are very well maintained and comfortable and I will definitely be making this an annual vacation spot .

If you are looking for a great vacation spot that is clean, has great fishing, and a host that is extremely accommodating… look no further. For two adults, we found that Sunbeam Bungalows had it all. After long days of fishing, we really enjoyed spending the afternoons on their private beach and lounge area. For boat owners, we really appreciated Sunbeam’s fantastic docking system and massive deck. The cabins were fully equipped, including a TV with 100+ channels; plus, but we found the city of North Bay was close by for visiting local restaurants or other activities. We strongly recommend you contact Darren and give Sunbeam Bungalows a try.
