Quiet but equipped camp site. We enjoyed staying the long weekend with some friends. We especially enjoyed a pancake breakfast, biking, and swimming at the dugout (on hot afternoons it was lovely!).

We bought in 2018, after spending a few years looking for a suitable permanent spot. We looked here a few times over the years (but always came in winter before it was fully developed so we didn't see the full beauty right away.) We look all over AB and BC and kept coming back to SRR. Finally we came in the summer and saw it for everything it was - we bought right away and it's been the best decision ever for our family!

The resort is beautiful and offers lots of space to explore, have fun, walk around. As well there are many events that go on during summer months (not during covid but when things are back to normal.) Events like Chili cookoffs, Kids Fun Day, Canada Day, Potluck dinners, Dances and more.

It is a safe and community-minded place where kids and adults can make new friends and enjoy the outdoors. Kids run free and play like they should and families play games and sports and bond like they are supposed to!

We like to get out year round as much as possible. Winter camping is fun and is enjoyed by a few other campers as well. It's different than summer camping and we love all the seasons out here!

Before SRR we struggled to find campsites and did not like how much time setup and tear down took. Out of a normal weekend we got a full day of camping which was a rip-off to us. Now, we just pack our bags and go! In the summer I often spend a good deal of time out there and work from my 'home office'! It's beautiful and quiet and surrounded by nature.

We also wanted a place that was close to home (it is only an hour away for us) and a place where the kids could make some permanent friends (other sites we used to go to, the kids made friends then never saw them again which was sad.) We like the idea of just driving up and being set up right away, giving us more time to relax and enjoy the beauty!

Sundre itself is a great town offering many shops and stores and often we pick up our groceries at the local IGA. Only 5 min away, if you need something just run into town and grab it!

This is such a great retreat and a wonderful place to get away from it all! Go for a walk, sit by the fire, skip rocks in the water, float down the creek or take a swim. Play Frisbee Golf or mini golf, toss a frisbee, enjoy a bike ride. Plus if you want to explore there are many activities off resort just a few minutes into the foothills! It's no surprise not many lots are left, this gem of a property is a must-have if you truly enjoy camping lots and love to just relax and make some life-long friends!

100% worth taking the tour and seeing it for yourself, it's a worthwhile investment to bring you a lifetime of wonderful memories!

Close to calgary, great getaway. Its quiet in our loop neighbours are friendly. So nice to sit on the deck, play games and have a nice fire with marshmellows. Everything is set up no hastel camping/cabin life. Vic and family are nice to deal with. The spot is owned by my mother in law. Id say she'd rate the same.

This resort is 10/10 Great managers.
Gated, you own your own lot. Great for a young family with children some thing going on always for children and adults.

Went for a tour of the place and Vic showed us everything possible. We saw alot of very happy people and very friendly. If the timing was right I would of purchased. I would highly recommend for families and grandparents.

Sundre is a truly charming and lovely town. The whole drive there was beautiful and it has a small town vibe. A true hidden gem! The resort was very well kept and close to town.
