This place is perfect for young families. Staying here was the highlight of our summer! We had such a pleasant stay at the cottage. There are endless things to do. The water is perfect for little ones as it is so shallow for so long and has a perfect beach area for them to play at. The cottage has everything that you could ever need. So many sleeping options, high chairs, toys, etc. The games rooms were a big hit with the kids and the adults. The hosts Jen and Al are the nicest people you could ever meet. Can’t wait to go back there again!

Amazing cottage, wonderful experience! Place had everything I needed and more. Gorgeous views, clean air, and you can never run out of things to do. Plus the included kayaks, canoe and firewood is not something offered by anybody else. Highly recommend this place.

Ps. I made a comment about how one of the propane BBQ's was not getting as hot as it should. He had a new Napolean BBQ next day, as well as a charcoal grill as I made another comment about how charcoal always tastes better.

This is the ABSOLUTEA BEST place to getaway. When they say "all inclusive" that's a major understatement. This place is more like home then a cottage, I wouldn't even call it a cottage. Plenty of space inside and out, everything you could possibly need, pots, pans, cooking, everything(its a fully loaded house). Bon fires are amazing and they have all the wood you will need. The view is incredible, from the lake in the daytime, the sunrise, and the stars ar night. There is dozens of board games, Foosball, pool, table hockey, etc. Now to the BEST part of this vacation. The place was incredible, but what made this truly special is the hosts. They were extremely friendly, seriously the nicest people you'll meet. So full of life and extremely enjoyable to be around. They will recommend places and they know the area extremely well. They made sure we were happy and comfortable, and they will keep you smiling the whole way through. Everyone who comes here seems to agree on one thing, you definitely will want to come back. I'm not just recommending this place, im saying its definitely your loss if you don't go.

vacationing here with my family (including a 3 year old and a 6 month old) was perfect! This spot has everything you will ever need for endless entertainment for the kids (and adults!!). The beach and water is amazing. It is perfect for kids as the water stays shallow for a long ways... so you can let them play freely. The cottage is fully stocked and makes vacationing here SO EASY and stress free! Highly recommend this spot for a family holiday!

We were fortunate enough to stay at Sunrise Hideaway for the last leg of our honeymoon before heading back to the UK. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. It really has it all! Picturesque setting, excellent amenities, ever ending amusement for both indoor and outdoor activities and all the comforts of home. Our hosts made the stay easy, offering local recommendations and fast responses to queries. We stayed here in late September/ early October and enjoyed all the beauty of the autumn. Definitely a destination suitable for all times of year. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back!

We love this place. We’ve been coming here for years. It’s a quiet yet social spot right on the water. The lake is probably the nicest you’ll find anywhere. Refreshing with a beautiful sandy bottom. It’s the perfect spot for a couples weekend away or large group.

This place is amazing for families with kids of all ages. There is so much to do.

The water area is second to none. It's all sand as far as you can touch bottom (and I'm talking close to half a km). Zero - I mean ZERO - weeds. The dock is great for relaxing and watching your kids play. There is also a large beach area for kids to play in the sand. Because it's so shallow, the water is also extremely warm for a Canadian lake. Think mid to high 70s in the middle of the summer. Other than the beach, there is a horseshoe pit, swing sets, badminton net and even a tether ball court for kids to play on. There are also two kyaks, a canoe and a paddle boat.

As for the units themselves, they aren't cottages. They're houses: Full satellite TV, wifi internet, washer/dryer. In the kitchen, there is every type of cookware and utensil you could possibly need to make whatever dish you desire. They even have full spice racks at your disposal. In the basements you have pool tables, fooseball tables and dart boards. They have hundreds (I mean hundreds) of movies and books for anyone who wants to spend some time relaxing inside, or for those rainy days. And good movies too! Not cheap ones you find in the bargain bins at a discount store.

To top it off, Al and Jenn are fantastic hosts and will quickly resolve any issue you may have while there. Also, they are pleasant people to be around and chat with if you want to learn about some of the history of the area.

I can't recommend this place enough. We've rented cottages with our families for years and have never found a place as perfect as this, and at such a reasonable price. Wherever you're from, it's worth the drive. Trust me.

Second time we've spent a week here. Able to accommodate large families. Water is shallow and great for children. The cottage are well equipped with kitchen supplies. Owners friendly and helpful.
