Le motel est moyen, mais un peu cher (tout est cher à Gibsons). Le motel propose un breakfast, mais celui-ci n'est servi qu'à partir de 8 heures. Donc trop tard pour le ferry de 8h40. ||En fait, la réception est complètement fermée entre 10 heures du soir et 8 heures.

We needed a room on shorter notice and we’re glad we found this place. We had room 108 which was clean and spacious with two Queens for the one night we had our daughter with us. It was renovated and we liked the space, mini kitchen area (which we didn’t use but would’ve if we knew) and double sinks with new fixtures in the bathroom. Tub and shower looked original but were clean with excellent hot water and water pressure. Good cable TV. Service was very friendly, respectful and kind as well. We didn’t try the pool (they were open it’s not heated) but the courtyard was nice. Lots of parking and handy location.

Very comfortable and adorable setting. The rooms are spacious and clean. Although the motel is not state of the art, the pool in the courtyard makes it worth it! The gardens also are beautiful and well maintained, it’s a nice walk to the shopping area It was a very nice overnight vacation experience!

Old school motel style. A little weathered for sure but the amenities in the room are great. Very very clean room. Great location. The nicest most helpful staff at the front desk. Special appreciation to Suly at the Front desk! Had an issue with a blown fuse and she was immediately on it. Plus her lovely demeanour and helpfulness were great.

I’m not sure how legitimate the previous 5 star reviews could possibly be. We were in room 112. Now dated I can do but this was beyond dated. It was totally run down. The kitchenette was so small, no prep area, no electric outlet near the coffee maker, you had to put it on the flat top burner to make coffee. The dining table was across the room. There was mold on the shower curtain, the bathroom grout and inside the bathroom cabinet. The carpet was stained and threadbare in places. No doors on closet. Only two pillows on a queen bed. The ice machine is in the staff laundry room, so when the lodge closes down, you can’t get any ice. No staff is on site from either 11 or 12 till 8 am. The coffee machine in the lobby is also locked down. No cream or milk, only powdered junky whitener. There is a cute patio behind the room but it is full of leaves and overgrown ivy. Our first two days there, the pool was not clean. You could see debris in the bottom. The centre garden was the best part of the lodge, it was beautifully maintained. There was a bbq for guests to use. The evening staff were very pleasant. The day receptionist guy, not so much. I will say the bed was comfortable. Full disclosure, I saw a renovated room that looked good. Request that or spend your money somewhere else.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is not the place. There was constant disturbance from people using the pool and from loud footsteps and running in the room above. It was extremely frustrating, and the noise gave me a terrible headache.

There’s also a serious lack of privacy, you can clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room as well as from people talking outside. The rooms and washrooms are quite outdated, and there’s no fan in the bathroom, which made things uncomfortable.

Overall, this stay was very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend it if you're hoping for rest or relaxation.

We booked our stay at Sunshine Lodge while still in Europe. The managers are very friendly and organized, we didn't have to wait long for a response. Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, the staff is friendly, everyone is sincere and kind! Coffee and tea at the reception are excellent) Thank you to the staff and organizers of the hotel) Everything is great) We will definitely come back to you again))
I would also like to note that the room has a mini kitchen, refrigerator, stove and coffee maker, which is very convenient, especially for those traveling with children)) I especially want to note the professionalism and friendliness of the Sunshine Lodge staff, Jeff Manager, Hoda and Rhoda 🙂
