When booking a large block of rooms we confirmed the pool would be open. Come to find out upon check out it was closed... and had been for months! There were mattresses and other cleaning supplies in the pool room. You can see it through the windows at the back. The pool isn't and won't be back operational if ever. They are still advertising this amenitie.
Breakfast was a few slices of bread, a dirty toaster and warm yogurt.
Location is great as we were there for softball but that is the only good thing about this place.

Great front desk staff! Very friendly, helpful and engaged. Room was clean but found the price a little high for the amenities offered. Great location, near alot of restaurants and shopping.

Stayed at super 8 for 3 nights.

Rooms were dated and rug felt sticky, probably just washed. Overall room was clean and didn’t use room cleaning services.

Bathroom is very dated, tub is old and stained. Toilet broke during our stay. AC worked good and beds were comfy.

Pool was closed due to maintenance - no report or notification from business, nor was there any compensation.

Continental breakfast is toast and Cereal - very small

Options are limited in meadow lake.

Nothing worked. Our tv didn’t work, both with the cable box or via HDMI. The pool wasn’t available. The wifi cut out all the time. The continental breakfast was horrible: they had no spoons for the cereal, the yogurt was frozen, the coffee was water, the packaged boiled eggs were gross, and the selection was sad.

This hotel is as expected; a 2 star hotel with a few older features, but also a few updates. It looks like the bathroom in my room was recently updated, and the space seems to be quite clean.

However, after looking through reviews back to 2 years from now, the hotel pool has been "closed for maintenance" the entire time it seems. The windows into the pool area are covered and appear to have been that way for some time, and the staff seem to just play along as if it will open eventually.

This hotel does not have a pool. It should be removed from the listing of amenities here, and as such I'm dropping my review from three stars to two.

It’s a clean hotel, I spoke to the locals, the pool is usually under maintenance so don’t rely on it, or call ahead and check. Some parts of the hotel are definitely aged, a bit of rust in the tub was there and the heating was about 18 years old or older. The breakfast they offer is a simple continental, just toasted bagels or toast, packaged boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal with apples and oranges. The staff were kind at the desk and professional. There are not many hotels in town, so the price might seem high, but I was told it is in line with others. There is an ok restaurant attached.

2nd year in a row we have come to this hotel & called ahead to make sure the pool was open both last yr & this yr. They replied “yes, our pool is open& working” They lied AGAIN, and again we have a disappointed little girl. We’ll never come to this hotel again!

You don’t have many accommodation options in this small town. All things considered, I found the Super 8 a descent place to stay. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Not sure why the broken tile around bath tub water tap was neglected and not repaired. Small fridge and microwave is available in guest rooms. No elevator to second floor.
