First time staying at the Super 8 in Taber, AB.
It was very clean, accessible to amenities, staff were friendly and helpful.
The room had all the amenities that I needed for my stay, and all worked in good condition. (Ie: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, heater…)
I will definitely stay there in the future when needed.

Not a bad hotel. Bit of cigarette smoke lingering in the rooms. My only complaint is the front desk lady this morning. I’m not sure what was wrong but I could hear her groan when I rang the bell for service while checking out this morning. It didn’t make me feel too great as a guest knowing that being helped was an inconvenience. I hope she’s okay and decides to bring a better attitude to work next time.

The staff have been great at accomodating our needs. Friendly and easy to communicate with. Rooms are consistently good and you can expect them to be fully functional. Toaster, microwave, fridge, tv, dresser, table and chairs, multiple lighting options, its all included in a double queen room. Ground floor room gives you access to outside where there is a picnic table and BBQ available for use.

I stayed here for over a week. Bed was not comfortable and paper thin bedsheets. If you needed to leave before 6am and want breakfast, they won’t allow that. They made me wait for 6am to be able to enter the room. But everything was ready for a half hour prior to that. Made no sense, I needed to get going.
So the next day I started just quickly going in to get a coffee and quick snack when they weren’t watching. Well then the next day they fully blocked the door with a chair and watched me. Felt very uncomfortable. I’ve never had this experience where a hotel didn’t want to be accommodating to workers with early work start times.
I would recommend The Econo lodge just down the street, it is amazing!! Really good breakfast and incredibly super friendly staff!! Really nice BBQ area to hangout at. They make you feel so welcome and they are actually happy that you are staying there!

Over 25 years of staying in Super 8's in Canada and the US, this is easily the cleanest and best one yet. Freshly renovated, new beds and CLEAN! Also a real good hot breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
