I have stayed at this location 4 times this month on my way traveling through, I have family in the area so its really convenient to stop overnight. But this hotel has been upgrading the rooms with vinyl plank floors and comfortable beds.
There are many options to pick from in salmon arm, but this is my preferred choice everytime.

What a great find. King room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Lots of room with a sofa bed and large chair and ottoman. If you have mobility issues there is no elevator. Nice LG tv; small fridge with no freezer- but the office can keep some small things. Friendly staff everywhere-especially the ‘breakfast lady’. Starbucks and Mr. Mikes are adjacent. Highly recommend.

I use a cane and have mobility issues. My mobility issues are quite new as I had cancer treatments this year. This hotel has two floors, and we were assigned to the upper floor. When my husband said I had mobility problems and would need a room on the first floor, we were told too bad. It was our fault, and they couldn't change our room. If I had been in a wheelchair we wouldn't have been able to stay here. As it was, it took me quite a while to climb the stairs, clinging onto a railing that was loose, hoping it wouldn't give way.
The frig doesn't work, but the freezer part does... go figure.
Also, this hotel must be quite close to the railway tracks and the building and bed shakes as trains go by. Some people might really enjoy this. I was still able to sleep okay. The beds were good quality.
Breakfast is a full breakfast.... but ordinary.
I think if I was physically capable, this place would have been adequate.

First off, if you get any room near the back... you will be treated with a loud train that shakes the bed and is crazy loud! (Mostly rooms behind the pool)
Breakfast and staff are amazing! Was the saving grace of this place!

We had a bit of crumbs and candy along the floor beside our bedside table. Not a huge deal but with this being a pet friendly hotel, I'd be mad expecting a clean safe room to having my dog feast on unknown candy that the previous guest had left, thankfully my dog did not attend this stay.

Queen sized beds are not true Queens, will sleep 2 people but not comfortable with 2.(this seems to be a common hotel problem)

The shower had lots of hot water!
Internet was quite slow, about 25mb/s.
The pool was fun and warm! The hot tub was closed for our entire visit.

Overall, decent stay for the price. Breakfast was the highlight. Scrambled eggs, pork sausage, coffee, waffle maker, toaster, yogurt, and a juice machine! Also, little muffins! I'd probably come back but will avoid the rooms at the back!

Absolutely the worst motel experience I've ever had. The place was filthy — from stained sheets to a bathroom that clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages. The staff was nowhere to be found when we needed help, and management seemed completely absent. As for the "breakfast," it was a joke — stale items, cold coffee, and not even basic hygiene standards. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.

coming from the west the surestay was near the entrance to salmon arm on the left at the back of a plaza. The location gives quick access (short walk) to a full liquor store and restaurants including a good pub/restaurant with a balcony. Although close to the rail line, noise from trains is not a problem. It would be nice to have water access but at least the lakeshore road means you don't have to go back on the freeway to reach the large salmon arm waterfront trail by the pier that goes out to christmas island and offers abundant wildlife viewing with lots of goslings and ducklings when we were there. The staff at reception and particularly at breakfast (which was good) and housekeeping are very personable and helpful. Only gripe would be the tight bathroom space and noisy fan that could not be turned off with light on. The hot tub wasn't working and we didn't use the pool. Other than that we were pleased with our stay and would return.
