It was such a peaceful and lovely experience. We passed by beautiful historic buildings and charming streets. The girl guiding the horse was super friendly and explained everything with a smile. It felt like a little trip back in time. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria!

Harley and his rider were the absolute best! We learned so much about Victoria, and the background of the stables and Harley’s upbringing. We use to live on a farm and it brought great joy to my mom to be around the horses and learn about them and their trainings. We will be back and definitely recommend.

It was an amazing ride…. The coachman was the true cowboy and was kind to tell us all about Canada and Victoria. Loved Jinx how calm and friendly he was. We did the tour at night and it looked beautiful with lights and dark too… the inner city was quite so felt like scary vintage movie vibes loved it truely.

A staple of the downtown tourism industry for decades, you can usually see a horse and carriage waiting to take someone on a short or long tour around James Bay. Often, children are allowed to pet or have their picture taken with the horses while they wait. The company also greets cruise ships and brings tours on larger carriages to the Legislative area and once again through James Bay. Special winter/Christmas rides are bookable as are evening rides. I have enjoyed several varieties.
