I have Musky fished with Kenora fishing guide Darcy Cox for 6 years now. Both trolling in the late fall and casting/jigging throughout the season in June, July, August, and September. I have been fortunate enough to have shared a boat with Darcy throughout the season over the years and he has shown me many different techniques for different times of the Musky season. I speak with him from time to time when I see him at the dock (normally when we are both trailering our boats at 10-12 o'clock at night after a long day on the water). He is always eager to teach a new technique or share information that will help put you on GIANTS!!! His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and patience while guiding are infectious and great for beginners or avid Musky fishermen who are looking to hone specific skills.

He is always willing to go anywhere on the lake you wish to fish and his knowledge of Musky fishing is second to none. Darcy is constantly looking for new techniques and pushing the envelope with different ideas and ways to catch Muskies. He is not just one of the best guides on Lake of the Woods but one of the best guides and fisherman in the industry. I have had the opportunity to speak with some of the Musky industries' best fisherman and Darcy is doing things that no one else is even mentioning, has written about, or videoed. I have been on multiple trips catching multiple BIG fish in the same trip with Darcy. I have also seen Darcy bag multiple BIG fish while fishing with him, he is always quick to say DANG when he gets a big one as he always wants his success as a guide to be shown through his guests' catches and not his own. He is a very down to earth, humble person, and is extremely easy to talk to/get along with while fishing anywhere from 8-14 hour days (hopefully I haven't been too annoying in the boat Darcy...haha).

I have taken information from my guided trips and applied it to my own spots on LOTW and have bagged many GIANTS because of Darcy's ability to teach me about this CRAZY sport! I cannot say enough about this man's sixth sense when it comes to Muskies, it is incredible to watch when you are in the boat.

Our trip out with Darcy on Lake of the Woods was awesome. I caught my first Muskie. His knowledge of LOTW, the waterways, and muskies are second to none.

Weather through the trip was not ideal for the fish, and MUCH too windy for ideal boating/fishing- but Darcy accommodated and made sure to keep us casting out of the wind as much as possible and the boat moving steady.

There was even some issues with the trolling motor, but he was prepared for it with a second tiller motor and handled it like a pro.

Of all the fishing guides I've been on trips with from Key West to California, few work as hard as Darcy to find the bite. We came in during a transition, cold front, storm front, you name it, and he still managed to get fish into the boat.

Extremely knowledgeable in his craft, he will make you a better angler by the time you finish your trip.

On top of all that, he's a great person. Already booked him for 2024.

My husband and I went out for an afternoon with Darcy on the Winnipeg River with a mission to learn more about Musky fishing and hopefully catch one at the same time. We are both new to the game and needed some pointers and confidence. Darcy did a great job of teaching us technique, offering us different rods/reels and lures to try and was incredibly patient with our endless questions. He clearly understands the weather, his fish, the river system as well as LOTW and provided guidance of great places we could try on our own at a later time. We booked for six hours and it went by faster than we wanted. We had some followers to the boat and were close at bringing a few in. Awesome Musky guide! Been going fishing with Darcy couple summers now and always a great time. Great at teaching anglers of all levels and easy to get along with. Always teaching giving tips and advise throughout the day. Combine Darcy's knowledge of fishing and a GIANT musky addiction Tank Industries is a cheat code for fishing LOTW!

Booked a 2 day musky trip for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary.

From the first message I sent darcy requesting dates and information he was extremely professional and very accommodating. Upon arrival on our first day his boat was already in the water waiting to hit lotw, no time was wasted.

Darcy was professional and very friendly throughout our time on the water. It is clear that he is an extremely experienced angler, guide and teacher. The weather was very difficult but it did not phase him in the least, putting us on big musky without a problem... his passion for fishing rubbed off on us and it made for an UNFORGETTABLE trip.

Beyond that, the learning about the lake, fish species, and their likes/dislikes was a huge attribute and made for a very informative experience.

On the 2nd day the winds picked up but Darcy's knowledge of the lake kicked in, and we found Tons of great spots out of the wind ... even found some good walleye spots in between..

We WILL be back and are already planning next years trip.
