My husband and I booked a Tasty Road Trip to discover Paris, Ontario. The day did NOT disappoint. Our itinerary took us to a number of hidden gems to discover many tasty delights and amazing, passionate business owners who take pride in their local food scene and food sources. We'll be going on another Tasty Tour in a few months but this time we are traveling to the Dundas and Ancaster. We can't wait!!

The last 3 photos are from our most recent tour. They highlight the Norfolk Juice Company which offers far more that juice and Ancaster Cheese & Fine Foods. We also visited Shawn and Ed's Brewery and The Olive Board. Each place provided copious amounts of wonderful food and drink.

This was the first time going to Paris, Ontario and despite the weather we absolutely loved everything! Thank you to Spicy Jan for planning out our tour. We started at The Paris Bohemian Gallery where Katherine was amazing! She took time to explain all the art pieces to us. Next stop was the Dog-Earrd Cafe where we enjoyed a chai latte with a view of The Grand River. I could spend hours in this cafe. Next stop was the Wincey Mills Market where we explored some great local vendors. We also had the most delicious tacos ever at La Trena Tacos. The owners Carlos and Carolina were the sweetest ever. Next stop was Paris Beer Co when we tried a flight of their local beers. After we wandered around the town and walked by The Grand River. Our last stop was Cheesecake on the Go where we picked up a beautiful basket with a charcuterie box for a picnic. Wished the weather was nicer so we could have the picnic in one of the nearby parks but it was still a great day! Thanks again Spicy Jan!

The tour Tasty Road Trips Tours created for us in Paris was awesome. We had a great time floating the Grand, and when they say you won't be hungry, they mean it! I look forward to trying another of their tours.

I recently participated in an all-inclusive tour of Brant County and it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time! Our tour included three rural stops, each complete with a sampling of some food and drinks. At each location, we were given some background information about the organization, invited to tour the grounds, and able to purchase the food and drinks we had enjoyed (if so desired). The best part was getting to learn about these local hidden gems right in our backyard! By touring these locations (and by purchasing their goods), we supported local businesses while indulging our culinary sense. Spicy Jan (owner of Tasty Road Trips) popped up at each location and was such a pleasure to meet and be able to chat with. Our tour included food and drink and connections with people who were small business owners and the best places to take photos.
It was our first visit to Paris and a great way to orient ourselves. The next day we were on our own in Paris and definitely had a confidence about where to go because of the tour.

For more than five years, I planned to take my sister, who has Cerebral Palsy, to Paris, France. This was her one big travel wish and we were going to make it happen for her 40th Birthday! Then COVID hit and our plans had to change.

I had followed Tasty Road Trips on Instagram for awhile and when I started to plan some alternatives celebratory ideas for my sister, I thought, we can still go to "Paris" in our own province. So that's when I reached out to Spicy Jan at Tasty Road Trips and started to plan.

We chose the One Bite at a Time Tour! (self-guided) version and Spicy Jan took extra care of us to ensure every stop we had was accessible in one way or another! We were also lucky to have Spicy Jan join us for the tour to ensure that every detail went off without a hitch!

The detail and love for community that goes into Tasty Road Trips tours was evident at every stop we went to and every business owner we talked to. With the option of individual add-ons, like the decadent Special Occasion Sweet Sampler, wine and cheese tasting or the Make & Take option, there is something for everyone!

Our time with Tasty Road Trips was safe (COVID), memorable and left a lasting impression on the five of us. My sister had the best birthday and although in a wheelchair, she was and felt included in every part of the tour. If you haven't given Tasty Road Trips a try - do it, you won't regret it!
