We went on a gorgeous Terradise Eco Tours hike with Mandi and her partner Gil twenty minutes outside of Terrace. Although we are avid hikers from the lower mainland we are not familiar with the Skeena area or wildlife, so we felt more comfortable hiring local guides who know the trails and carry bear bangers and a first aid kit. The Terradise guides selected a hike for us based on our preferences and pointed out interesting things along the way such as a mark tree with Grizzly scratchings, indigenous culturally modified trees and a rock pile with ocean fossils. We meandered through the forest and around three picturesque lakes with snow capped mountain vistas. The guides also answered all of our questions about fauna and area history with a breadth of knowledge. At the top, Mandi provided a healthy snack and we relaxed with their two well behaved guide dogs. We highly recommend Mandi and Gil as guides for your hiking or fishing adventures in and around Terrace.

Great host! We did a guided hike as we didn’t know the area. Mandi was lovely and knowledgeable and took us to a gorgeous set of lakes. Her dogs are also very sweet. Highly recommend!
