We had an amazing stay at August House in Nova Scotia! The place is absolutely beautiful, with so many charming details that make it feel cozy and inviting. We stayed in the bunk bed room this past weekend, and the beds were extremely comfortable—one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a while! It was also baby friendly. The air temperature was perfect and easily adjustable, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was phenomenal, with delicious options that set the day off on a high note. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. I also loved discovering all the little goodies scattered throughout the house, adding a special touch to our experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Nova Scotia!

The August House provided an amazing venue for a small family and friends wedding. We had all the rooms booked and stayed two nights. The August House handled the wedding, meal and reception. The rooms were clean, comfortable and our bathroom was luxurious. A wholesome and delicious breakfast was also included. The hostess was very gracious and we had full use of common and outdoor areas. Windsor is a charming small town. I highly recommend The August House!

Sometimes 5 stars are not enough. The entire team and experience at The August House are incredible. The room was very peaceful and impeccable. Breakfast was far beyond expectations. We even enjoyed sitting outside in comfortable chairs around the fire pit before the short walk into town. The owner Collette and one of her team members Melissa really took time to know us deeply and we so appreciate their care for their guests and attention to making your stay incredible.

We got married at the August house after spending a night there, and we could not recommend it enough! Whether you were looking for an intimate wedding, a getaway weekend with friends, August house is the spot for you! Every room is absolutely gorgeous, the attention to detail is second to none. All of the staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious! They really think of it all

If you were looking for a place to stay no further, and we also absolutely love the town of Windsor! So many great restaurants, bakeries, cafés, etc. in the area

We loved the Boutique Inn. It was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Everything was thoughtfully designed, very elegant, but very relaxed. You almost don’t want to leave! The breakfast was perfectly presented and very delicious. We look forward to another visit!

Das August House ist wunderschön modern renoviert und hat dabei seinen Charme behalten. Wir haben als 4- köpfige Familie in 2 Zimmern mit Verbindungstür übernachtet und somit herrlich viel Platz und zwei Badezimmer gehabt 😉
Besonderes Lob geht noch an das Frühstück: das Brot und die Marmelade waren super!

I recently stayed at the August House bed and breakfast with my family of four, and I must say that our experience was absolutely fantastic. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the charming decor of the rooms, everything about our stay was top-notch.

The location of the August House is also worth mentioning - it's nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. But despite its serene surroundings, the bed and breakfast is still conveniently located near all of the major attractions in the area.

One thing that really stood out to us during our stay was the attention to detail that the staff put into everything. From a hand written welcome note in the room to the delicious homemade breakfast in the morning , it was clear that every aspect of our stay was carefully thought out and executed with care.

Overall, I would highly recommend the August House to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in the area. Whether you're traveling with family or just looking for a relaxing getaway, this bed and breakfast is sure to exceed your expectations. 5 stars!

We stayed at the August House for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was beautiful with a lovely sitting area. It was so cozy and inviting. Really loved the extra touches - welcome cookies, Nespresso coffee, delicious breakfast. Super comfortable bed, huge bathroom, helpful and attentive staff - highly recommend the August House!
