Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. They made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, we had a choice of 3 menu items. We also used their spa services (massage and dead sea bath) and that was absolutely amazing. A little pricey but worth every penny!

I don’t know how they managed it, but a negative review I posted back in 2017 has been expunged for some reason. I’m reposting as a PSA.

My wife and I wanted to have a nice weekend away. Boy, did we end up choosing the wrong place. Should have known something was up on the drive in – the extensive gardens were unattended and there were weeds all over the place. It didn’t get any better on the inside. The décor was European sans 1970s with little evidence of any upgrades since the 1980s. The carperts were matted, the mattresses in the rooms were thin looking like they were decades old. There was no cable for the aged and small tube TV, the WiFi costed extra when the brochure said free, etc. And the place smelled peculiar – most likely due to the hottub.

The two big “highlights” were (a) the brochure indicated there was a hot tub for free. At first, they refused to open it up. Then they charged us for it. And when we got into the tub, the smell of chemicals AND mold was so overwhelming you couldn’t stay in for more than 5 minutes at a time; and (b) the breakfast next day (also an additional charge) was one very small egg not cooked to order (asked for easy over and got sunny side up), the was egg served on moldy (yes, moldy smelling) toast, two slices of a small melon, and instant coffee!

Due to the issues with the hot tub chemicals and moldy toast, we notified the local health inspector of our concerns. While they tried to visit the site, the owners had a nice trick to avoid inspections they had been using for quite some time – they only operated on wkends and the inspectors only worked on weekdays.

If this site is still under the same ownership and they haven’t changed their ways (which I consider unlikely based on the interactions we had with them), then, for your own health, I would strongly recommend staying away from this so-called spa. Save your hard-earned money for a business which will provide all the services marked in their brochure.

I was just passing by And found it by chance, went in and had an amazing chat with the lady inside. Clean environment and good atmosphere. I will definitely go back!

Very over priced, hundreds of flys in our room, never asked how I wanted my beef cooked, don't waist your money and time. Worst spa experience ever.

Was told rmt receipt would be given and was not issued ! Now stuck with 180$ massage bill to pay from my pocket!!! Not impress would not recommend!
