I recently stayed at this hotel and while it has some positives, unfortunately, the negatives left a sour impression.

The location was great – central and convenient. The beds were comfortable, which was much appreciated after working long days. However, the housekeeping service was virtually nonexistent. Upon arrival, I noticed pubic hair in the corner of the bathroom, and the floor seemed either dirty or cleaned with dirty water. It was a disappointing first impression.

Things didn't improve from there. On the morning of day 3, I ran out of toilet paper. By the time I returned to the room later that day, I had to go to the front desk to ask for more, which was a hassle. According to the hotel’s policy, they state they only provide room service after 3 days, but this was clearly not the case, and it seemed like they simply neglected basic maintenance.

Overall, while the location and comfort of the beds were nice, the lack of cleanliness and attention to basic amenities was a major letdown. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made to their housekeeping services.

The only complaints I had were that our room was cramped and there was no microwave. There wasn't any space to navigate around the room. It would have been better suited for a single bed option. Other than that, it was perfect. It was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, especially for the price. Very affordable and close to water, places to eat, etc..

Stayed there for a Casino Rama show which ended up being cancelled due to an ice storm. Headed back to the hotel which had no power, we were escorted to our room by the front desk and were told ‘of course a refund is in order’. We were also told we could leave if we wished. Due to having alcohol and being hours away from home we decided not to leave. So we stayed in our cold room using our phone lights to see and eventually just went to sleep. We woke up early to an even colder room and no power and just wanted to get home. When we checked out we told the gentlemen at the front desk we were told we were getting a refund and he took my gfs name and said they’d do something for us and we were on our 3 hour drive home.
Fast forward a few weeks later and we were surprised to see a full charge for the room. As I’m aware weather is out of your control, maybe training your staff to better handle issues like this is in order. My gf emailed the hotel and shockingly received no reply, just ignored. I phoned the following weekend and spoke to a female who said her head office informed them no refunds if people stayed and didn’t leave. So basically drive under the influence in an ice storm or be charged in full (even though we were told we were getting a refund) for sleeping in the cold and dark comfort of our hotel? Interesting policy.
I have reached out to head office and was told they’d look into it and get back to me, seems pretty straight forward to me. I worked in hospitality for 22 years and 19 of those years were management, every person involved has handled this incorrectly and should be retrained in high stress situations to better assist the guest, including head office. I patiently await your reply and resolution.

They put me in the basement! There is lots here.|* No space whatsoever in the bathroom for your accessories|* Went to use a Kleenex. EMPTY|* Obviously this is a CHEAP HOTEL|* If you use the shower, make sure the nozzle is away from you as the cold water comes out too fast. Normal places have the bottles of hair wash as: Shampoo then Conditioner. lol not them.... Conditioner is first.|* Temperature gauge is unbelievable. In Fahrenheit. Really? We in Canada. Celsius|* Bed is not comfortable. Looked up and a bug crossing on the ceiling. Wow|* I waited for Breakfast. Most people have it at 6. Not them. 7|* Breakfast was terrible!!!! Juice machine not working. I had 1/2 cup of coffee and not breakfast. Crap.
