Great inn for family trip. We booked through Airbnb, so hard to review the building.
But it was clean, conveniently close to town with great views and big enough parking.
The parking could be paved though, to prevent the muddy shoes and car floor.

One of the few true ski in/ski out locations in Fernie. Was so nice to come in for lunch instead of eating in the day lodge. G7 now has a full-size fridge and a king size murphy bed, both which are game changing!

We stayed at the Griz for 3 nights in a one bedroom suite with kitchen. The facilities are great, heaps of space in the lounge area and a great view from the balcony. The lodge is located right near the pommer and elk chair, and we could pretty much ski to the door. The Rusty Edge pub is part of the building, but we didn’t hear any noise from it on the 2nd floor. The hot tub at the end of the day was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!

This isn't an Inn, it appears to be all privately owned and managed apartments. Our stay was via Airbnb unit 106. Apartment was nicely renovated, cannot say the same for the rest of the building. Thin walls, we could hear upstairs walking around, it was noisy, so was the communal hot-tub / spa outside the apartment, just below us.

Elk chair & Moose T-bar are your ski out options, you will need to work your way over to the main village to ski in. Otherwise its a walk up the hill to start your day in the main village, not ideal with small kids.

Definitely better options around.

Update: thanks for the response Grizz Inn. There certainly is some brand/business continuity issues. This business listing is all that comes up for the location, no strata and no condos. Common areas make up a big part of the experience and all unit owners contribute to strata management, who ultimately work for them. I still feel this review is relevant for those currently looking at the Grizz Inn.

Some side notes...you may want to follow up on.
- we noted people coming and going from the building with towels using the pool and spa.
- cars parking under the drop off area overnight.

We had air bnb so no services. Hot tub is warm. Wish the fenching was lower as the view is fantastic on one side of hot tub. Everything was very clean. Lockers are good for 4 boarders with room to spare and a perfect distance to elk chair which has mostly green runs with a couple blue and to a tbar for the bunny area.

Super comfortable place to stay. Updated 80s vibe. Feet from the elk chairlift and bunny hill t-bar. The rusty edge restaurant has great specials and surprisingly good vegies and salads. Try their Mediterranean platter for something tasty and guilt free. Outdoor hot tube great for a sore skier at the end of the day. Look forward to our next stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again in room 208. This is a pet friendly room that allows our entire family to enjoy the hill. The kids had a great time playing in the pool and hanging out at our favourite table by the fireplace in the Rusty Edge. This is one annual event that we consistently look forward to.
