My husband and I spent three nights at Highacre to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we are SO happy we did!! From looking at the description and photos of the rooms we were so excited and looked forward to it for months and we were in awe once we arrived at how beautiful it was in person and delighted that it was 100% as advertised! We loved all the big and small details in the room.The steam room and sauna and all the other amenities were beautiful and so state of the art. The breakfast was delicious. The house and the property were quiet and serene. The house is in easy walking distance to several beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls too! Also, I must mention the country market Dyments down the road where we bought fresh bread, quiche, butter tarts, cheese and more. The hosts Brett and Linda were so friendly and accommodating. it was all around a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go back!

The High Acre is a true gem!
From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect escape—peaceful, beautifully designed, and incredibly relaxing. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully curated, creating such a serene atmosphere. The in-room infrared sauna and steam room were amazing. They made the stay extra luxurious. Brett and Linda were wonderful hosts, and their attention to detail really shows. This was exactly the reset I needed—highly recommend!

We had the absolute best weekend staying at The High Acre! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space is incredibly clean, beautifully designed, and so peaceful — it truly felt like a hidden gem in Dundas.

The in-room sauna and steam shower combo was such a luxurious touch and made the whole experience feel like a private spa getaway. We left feeling so relaxed and recharged.

Brett and Linda were the most wonderful hosts — so kind and thoughtful. You can really tell how much care they put into every detail of the space and the experience.

We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, and unique stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at The High Acre, in the Stotnick Suite and it was absolutely perfect! We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing stay - from the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we left. The decor in the house and the room are a wonderful mixture of classy, earthy and soothing. The room was very clean, the food brought for each breakfast was delicious, the spa was heavenly and the bed.....oh, that bed! The most comfortable bed and bedding we've ever been in. We will definitely be back again one day!

We had an absolutely blissful experience at high acre. The space is really relaxing, instructions for operation of devices are really clear. There are tons of little extras including infrared masks, candles for ambiance, pillow spray, bathroom spray, cozy slippers and robe. Every detail is thought through and high quality, even the pantry items exceeded my expectations, including 3 choices for morning coffee and a selection of teas and quality oil salt and pepper for cooking. The dishes, bedding, towels and soaps were all next level! We absolutely loved our stay. I would love to see their website expanded, It left me with a lot of questions but their team was very quick to answer them thoroughly. The only small thing we were a bit thrown by was their very intense policies surrounding noise complaints or damages and check out. Massage oils are not permitted and food is restricted to the small dining area. While these things are entirely reasonable and we were happy to comply the wording was very stern and felt a little less than welcoming. Check out is very strict and we were not allowed to extend by 15 minutes for a work call however they were kind enough to allow us to use the lobby/ public lounge area which we were very grateful for. I highly recommend a stay here, for a very luxurious private space experience unlike any other!

Booked the Hudson suite after seeing gorgeous photos on IG. The hotel is even more idyllic than pictured, and far exceeded our expectations!
Beautifully & thoughtfully designed, you have everything you need, plus so many luxurious extras: private sauna, soaker tub, kitchen, sleeping mask, aromatherapy etc.
We are still dreaming about the king-sized bed with the most silky sheets.
Loved the massive outdoor hot tub - was picturing a flimsy plastic one but this is the real deal!
We had a little incident upon checkout but Brett very promptly & gracefully dealt with it. For this reason we would rate this stay a 20/10!!!

We stayed at the Highacre for 2 nights in February. Brett was very friendly and the whole house had a very calming and welcoming vibe. The attention to detail in the room was amazing, Brett and Linda had thought of everything and all the decor/finishings were beautiful. The in-suite sauna and steam room were incredible, it really felt like we had our own private spa. We will definitely recommend the Highacre as a relaxing, spa weekend getaway!
