Nous avons passé quatre merveilleuses nuits au Highland Manor. Le manoir était parfaitement placé pour être à distance de marche de plusieurs restaurants et du centre-ville. Nous avons pu essentiellement faire nos soirées à pied . Le manoir est lui-même très impressionnant au niveau de son architecture et du charme de l’ancien, qui semble avoir été parfaitement préservé. Nous avons dormi dans la Fleming qui est très spacieuse et coquette. Le manoir est suffisamment grand pour nous permettre d’avoir notre intimité tout en ayant une proximité suffisante avec les hôtes, Linda et Paul. Ils ont été attentionnés et accueillants et il est évident qu’ils aiment beaucoup recevoir des voyageurs venus de partout. Ils nous ont fourni de precieux conseils sur les environs. Les dejeuners sont délicieux et rappellent la bonne cuisine maison. Nous nous arrêterons définitivement à nouveau si nous revenons dans la région de la baie géorgienne!

Je leur offre une 6e étoile! L'accueil y est plus que chaleureux avec des hôtes fantastiques, rempli d'humour. Le manoir est d'une beauté absolue et les chambres d'un très grand confort. Les déjeuners sont copieux, raffinés et exquis. La maîtresse de maison : Linda, est d'un grand dévouement pour nous guider afin de nous aider à bien découvrir la région. Elle nous offre des itinéraires de choix, selon les goûts de chacun.Cet endroit offre un séjour mémorable, il faut prendre le temps de profitez de la terrasse avec un petit "vin-fromage" **

My wife and I travelled to Owen Sound for overnight stays 5 times in recent weeks, and each time we stayed at the Highland Manor. We could not have been happier with our choice. The building (an 1872 mansion) has been updated and decorated in a way that is remarkably beautiful, while staying consistent with its historic proportions and charm. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, each with an ensuite bathroom. Breakfasts, served in the sunny and—again—very beautiful dining room, were healthy, delicious, and elegantly presented. Linda, the owner and our host, was knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. My wife and I have stayed in more than a few B & Bs in Ontario over the years. I can honestly say that none has quite rivalled the Highland Manor. We would not hesitate to stay there again the next time we travel to Owen Sound.

If you’re visiting Owen Sound and planning to stay overnight, The Highland Manor is an absolute must! It’s a stunning, clean, and comfortable Victorian home built in 1872 that’s been lovingly restored and is full of period detail, fine furnishings, and just the right amount of whimsy. My husband and I had the good fortune to stay there five times during the past several weeks. We slept in the charming and spacious Ross Room, beautifully decorated with attention to every detail and comfort – luxury sheets and duvet, soft towels, and a Tempur-pedic mattress and pillows. Our breakfasts were amazing and different each time – a tasty fresh fruit cup to start, followed by a delicious hot dish. (My favourite was the French toast with orange-zest butter, REAL maple syrup, and strawberry compote.) And Linda is the consummate host: warm and welcoming and helpful. It’s a gem of a place and you won’t find better in Owen Sound!

This is the best place to stay when visiting Owen Sound. The host, Linda is so kind and makes a great breakfast. The manor is very clean and wonderfully decorated. Each room is unique and the pillows as well as thematic mattresses are comfortable.

Beautiful house with so many original features!|Linda and Paul are amazing hosts providing the yummiest of breakfasts with constant coffee refills! Linda will even share her recipes 🥰 Such comfortable beds and a spacious outside veranda to sip a cocktail!|Close enough to downtown that we were able to walk to our dinner reservation at a place (recommended by Linda) that just blew us away. Why would you stay in a generic hotel when you could enjoy relaxing in one of their historical sitting rooms! It felt like staying with family! Highly recommend!
