Très belle chambre très propre. Nous nous sentions bien comme la maison. Ca sentait bon, tout était bien pensé, beau décor. De bons savon qui sentait bon, pas du savon pas cher qui sent rien ou mauvais. Je recommande.

People were very friendly, rooms were clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. We did not have a harbour view room and I was fearful it would be noisy overlooking the roadway. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. This place ticked all the boxes for us.

A refreshing and well organised small hotel. The team running the place were friendly, kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and there were lots of help information on things to do in the area. Breakfast was great , lots of fresh fruit and everything you might need to start the day. Fisherman’s Cove is a charming and a short walk from the hotel . Would most definitely stay again .

Had a lovely stay (July 19 & 20, 2024) at The Inn at Fisherman's Cove! This Inn was well located - less than 5 mins away from two bus stops taking you to the ferry terminals for a 10 mins ferry ride to Halifax. Best of all, a short walk to the multi-coloured stores that sold tempting food, ice cream and other local artisan items for souvenirs/gifts along the boardwalk. Another highlight, we ordered a freshly caught lobster that we ate with relish!
Wonderful hosts, David and Ginny, who made the recent stay even more special with their hospitality and kindness. The breakfast served was filling and delicious, and one day we had yummy home made muffins! We were lucky that we had a room with a balcony as it overlooked the docked fishing boats and needless to say the sunset view was stunning! The room was spotlessly cleaned and quaint. All in all, a fabulous stay at Fisherman's Cove - couldn't ask for more. Many thanks, David and Ginny - the hosts with the most!

The room was as advertised, but the advertisement made it sound better than it was.  If you are looking for just bare basics for 1 night and need to be in Digby you might be ok here, but I still wouldn't recommend this Inn for many reasons.  The room and bedding were dated and had a scent that bothered us so much the entire time we were in the room.  I woke up in the middle of the night with a swollen and very sore throat, which I think was from the air or heat in the room – as it went away immediately after we checked out of our room.  The Inn didn't have room darkening curtains, and thus, it wasn't dark enough in the morning for us to sleep fully.  We also awoke to a lot of early morning fog horns – I guess to be expected in this location.  The Inn at Fisherman's Cove is on a cove, I certainly wouldn't consider this an Ocean Front hotel.  The add and pictures make it look like a cute, amazing place to stay – but it was not.  If you are thinking of saving money by staying in Dartmouth versus staying directly in Halifax, take it from me – the bit of extra money is worth it.  You would be better off staying in Halifax because that is where all the fun and good food is to be found.  Eastern Passage in Dartmouth is a small fishing place with a lot of boats and some restaurants – there is also a beach where people were fishing,  We took the ferry from Dartmouth to Halifax – which is very doable, but you may regret it depending on your type of vacation.

Loved our stay at the inn! The room was very accommodating and clean! The bed was comfortable and sturdy. The view from our balcony was beautiful, especially at sunset. There is also a dock with tables/seating to eat or watch the sunset. The continental breakfast was good, and coffee/tea/drinks are available all day until 6pm. There are some cute shops on the boardwalk, and a family restaurant. Passage Pizza next door is pretty good and convenient. There's also a Timmies up the road, a gas station, a grocery store, and A&W. It's a quiet area, 25 minutes from downtown through the toll bridge. There is also a ferry service across.
